Having attained 3 college degrees, all in criminal justice and the last one being a Master of Science majoring in Police Administration in 2021, I set sail on researching and writing about law enforcement topics, history, gear, and current events.
That decision made sense because, looking back over my long career in policing one trait that always stood out about me has been connecting with and training new police officers.
I have been a Field Training Officer (FTO) for the past 15 years and became a part of the police supervisory staff in 2014.
In 2017, I attended and successfully completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Program in Police Management, Leadership, and Command.
I now extend my training, education, and experience to the officers just now getting into the field so that they may become more informed police officers and stay clear of police misconduct and corruption.
Through my expertise, I bring to light the problems that have plagued policing and I hold firm that it should be the mission of today's police leaders to be the agents of positive change for the future of law enforcement.
My experience does not just exist in law enforcement and criminal justice education. As you can see in the picture below my responsibilities while off duty are just as difficult and just as rewarding.
