Collateral Finance Corporation (CFC) is a licensed California Finance Lender that provides collateralized commercial loans across the bullion, numismatic and sports card markets. CFC has extended over $300 million in loans since its founding in 2005 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMRK), a leading Fortune 500 full-service precious metals trading company and an authorized purchaser from the U.S. Mint since 1986.
CFC provides individual collectors and dealers with the opportunity to access the value of their assets in a cost efficient and secure manner. A simple online application requires no origination fees or credit checks and can be completed in less than 15 minutes. Loans start at $25,000 and most are funded within two weeks of application submission.
Approved applicants can typically borrow up to 75% of the value of their gold, silver, platinum and palladium, up to 65% of the estimated market value of their numismatic assets, as well as up to 50% of the value of their graded cards.
CFC offers fixed rate, 180-day term loans with the opportunity to renew prior to maturity. Borrowers often establish long-term financing by renewing their loans for several terms. Interest is billed monthly and loans can be pre-paid without penalty. Borrowers select from a network of secure and fully insured depositories to store their collateral, including a depository in Las Vegas, managed by Loomis, and in New York, managed by Brinks. Collateral is returned when a loan is paid off.
