A: Back in the early 2000's, we were used to offering our lifestyle products directly to consumers from our brick and mortar showroom.  But this new thing called the "internet" kept gaining traction, and we thought "what better way to reach more backyards than by bringing our showroom right to them!"  So in 2007, StarfireDirect.com came to life and we've been at it ever since!

Q: Where are you based out of?

A. We are located in sunny southern California.  Our physical location is in Temecula where we have a design center open to the public Monday through Friday.  Customers can pick up their orders, talk to a real live person, and see product.  This is the same facility where we manage the website, customer service, sales, accounting, purchasing, and more!  Feel free to stop on by, we'd welcome a visit!

Q: Is StarfireDirect.com legit?

A: As mentioned, not only do we have a physical location that you're welcome to visit, but we have been in business since 2007.  Our team is mostly all local to the Temecula area, aside from a few remote workers.  We have great reviews from our customers and take pride in treating every customer the same way we'd want to be treated, with respect and fairness.  We are also authorized retailers for some of the top brands in our industry like Harmonia Living, O.W. Lee, R.H. Peterson, Rasmussen, American Fireglass, FIM Umbrellas, and dozens more.  We visit these partners regularly, break bread with them at trade shows, and work with them to curate their best products for our website.  So is our website legit?  Absolutely, Starfire Direct is legit.

A: We got our start installing fireplaces and gas logs.  So we tend to lean towards "hearth" related products.  But over the years, that evolved into everything outdoors including fire pits, patio heaters, grills, and patio furniture.  Most items that require natural gas or propane to work generally operate with the same criteria, which makes crossing over into these other categories the obvious path.

A: Our inspiration is born in efficiency and safety.  The reality is that many customers that try to install gas appliances for the first time might run into issues with gas pressure, ignitions, and other installation issues.  When we see recurring issues take place, we roll up our sleeves and look for ways to reinvent products so that it's an easy installation for the customer with a goal to safety.  Nothing is more important than knowing that your loved ones can enjoy the products we offer knowing they are safe and reliable. 

Q: Does Starfire Direct maintain any certifications?

A: Of course we do!  And not many of our competitors do by the way...many of our employees are certified by the National Fireplace Institute, which means we are up to date on current requirements and understand the products we sell.  We also visit our vendors regularly for product training so our team understands all the latest developments.  Think about the last time you got detailed information from an rep at Home Depot or Amazon!  Not to discredit them, but our team knows our products, and it's safe to say not every competitor does.  This is one of the reasons our customers keep coming back for more!  We're able to answer their questions at a professional level that they've come to count on.
