Orange Insoles was born out of a shoe store — and a simple realization.

For years, Tom & Marsha Keenoy, longtime owners at Playmakers (a nationally recognized running and walking specialty store in Okemos, Michigan), watched customers come in every day with foot, knee, and back pain. The right shoes helped, but it wasn’t always enough. What they really needed was better support inside the shoe — something that aligned the body from the ground up and could hold up to the daily miles of work, sport, and life.

So, Tom set off to design an insole that would deliver the kind of real-world support their customers needed — not a flimsy foam insert, but something structured, balanced, and built to last.
