We are Meghan and Madison, the twin sister, and co-founder duo behind Tallow Twins.
Our mission behind starting this brand began one year ago and was influenced by a burning desire to have a product we could offer our community that was tallow-based and suitable for anyone to use. Since day one, we have been dedicated to our Tallow-based skincare brand. Living in a small town in Ontario, Canada surrounded by farms, we have been fortunate to locally source our tallow. Together, we harmoniously work to cultivate our brand and provide you with sustainable, pure, artisanal skincare inspired by our ancestors. We established Tallow Twins intending to bring a legitimately clean skincare product to the market, which has been a space that has been lacking quality, from our consumer perspective. Our products enable our customers to eliminate the harsh chemical-ridden products they were previously using on their skin, and instead replace them with our multipurpose, all-around holistic skincare products. Tallow is biogenetically identical to the oils that our skin naturally produces (the sebum), which makes tallow extremely compatible with our skin. The tallow can fully absorb into our skin, making it the most nourishing and healing product to put on human skin. Rendered from grass-fed cattle, beef tallow is rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, and antioxidants, and it is also antibacterial and antimicrobial. Our mission is to inspire individuals to take charge of their health and wellness by removing harmful chemicals from their skincare routine. We truly believe that we are only scratching the surface of the importance of choosing genuinely clean products for our skin, but we intend to shine more light on this topic as we grow and expand this brand. This is one piece of the puzzle that can influence so many people in tremendously positive ways.
