Walleye Direct was founded to bring the highest quality wild caught freshwater fish fillets to your doorstep. The founder Jesse is from Minnesota and Wisconsin and missed the taste of home so much he decided to make a company to make it possible for everyone in the US. Over time the business has expanded beyond walleye to a variety of freshwater fish like yellow perch, bluegill, lake trout, whitefish, smelt, northern pike, salmon and more. There are also Midwestern specialties like cheese curds, wild rice, venison summer sausage, soups and smoked fish options. There was an acquisition of a local meat company to add family farm raised beef, chicken and pork.
