Great service - really knowledgable and friendly team

Great help guiding me around various bikes and specs. Keith was fab, I didnt feel rushed and I came away feeling like I had made the best decision about my chosen bike.

I was more than happy with the service, the product (bicycle), and the price paid.

Very happy with service from order to delivery and post delivery. I live in Somerset and Madeleine from the Bakewell site drove to my home to personally deliver my bike early one Thursday morning. She spent some time explaining how the bike (electric) worked and appeared to be in no hurry to get back on the road for further deliveries. Subsequent to delivery, further discussions ensued with Richard who was extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend Criterium again.

I placed an order for a large number of Trek mountain bikes, helmets, locks and lights. All bikes have been excellently set up, all gears shifting perfectly and sizes perfect for each user. All bikes were delivered and organised excellently.

A fantastic experience. Customer care goes above and beyond with this company. I visited the Edinburgh branch. They have very knowledgeable staff that are passionate about their jobs, they explained all the features of the bikes they had available. No sales pressure, we were encouraged to make sure the bikes were right for us and our needs. Fast delivery and a detailed handover. I would highly recommend this company.

Bought treck powerfly fs4 equipped for my sister to go bike packing with me and at pick up from shop Paul changed tyres ( that I had taken with me because bike doesn't come tubbless) and made bike tubbless at no extra cost, then spent time explaining how the bike worked to my sister (better than I would off done). Couple of days later noticed tiny scratch on underside of down tube, contacted shop again and matter was resolved there and then, Excellent customer service, great shop and friendly staff, highly recommended.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome, given a chance to browse, before we were approached and then were listened to...a rare commodity these days. Instead of being shown the latest, most expensive bike, we were shown one in our price point and for what we needed - an entry level hybrid bike for someone who hasn't ridden a bike in about 25 years.

Everyone was helpful, well versed in their field and seemed genuinely interested in talking all things bikes.

Outstanding advice and customer service from a professional but friendly team, they are not out for a quick sale they make sure that the product is fit for your needs. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Thanks guys your AWESOME

Having search online for my ebike of choice Criterium cycles were by far the cheapest and looking at there feedback from past customers I put in my order. The close contact by phone and email from Richard at there Bakewell store was superb. The bike was delivered just a few days later by Madeline, fully assembled, in their own van and She talked me through the features and went on her way.
I will sum up this purchase by saying, If all businesses were this professional then the world would be be a much easier place to live in.

I was looking to purchase a significant quantity of bikes from the Edinburgh shop, they spent time with me to identify the best options and gave me a clear costing of all other items, leaving me in no doubt as to how much I would be spending. Compare this to another shop in Edinburgh who just gave me a scrap of paper with a hand written number scribbled on it.

Despite my uncertainty Richard & Paul gave me straightforward information and I'm pleased to report all the decisions were correct!

From the moment that I visited the showroom to look at buying a bike to the purchase then the collection of my bike I received a warm and friendly welcome from Richard and his team. On my first visit they took the time to go through the features of the two models that I was interested in. On my second visit when I went to buy the bike Richard spent a lot of TPT ie ensuring that I purchased the right size bike.

The handover on my third visit was excellent and Joe ensured that the bike was correctly set up for me. I am so glad that I purchased my bike from Criterium in Bakewell and I would have no hesitation in recommending the shop to anyone.
