Mr. P. immediately began inquiring about the unusual hats, learning that their material was actually old canvas tarps discarded by Brazilian trucking companies after lengthy use as protection for freight. A romantic in the broadest sense of the word, Mr. P. was instantly as hooked by the story as he had been by the hats themselves.

The pairing of the two products, Original and C.L., is a great deal. I wear the C.L. daily and am appreciative of the robust nature. It feels good and wears easily. The material is firm but not in a bad way. The Original is my, "Working/Hanging Out" hat. Good coverage and the wire in the brim makes shaping it easy.
