Preordered a PS4 from patient, back order. Was expecting a release on 3 weeks after nov ****. Have not yet received the product which I had paid for way in advance,
There was no apology for the delay & they failed to keep me uptodate with the status of the order.
They did however offer to get a refund on the item.
I think they need to better improve by emailing if any change in eta.
Also finding status of order is a multi step process that really needs to be streamlined into one click.

It was a pleasure to deal with them and the service and support was excellent. The products that arrived though, were not as good. The plastic wrapping of some of the products were tattered and torn and seemed like the products may not be new. So far I have not had an issue with the functionality of the products, but the wrapping makes me wonder about how long that will last!!

I pre-ordered a Playstation 4 device from Phoenix Tech months ago.
This order has been delayed twice. Once from the Supplier and a Second time apparently from Sony.
Phoenix Tech will tell you they have no control over these parties and phoenix tech will also tell you they have no control over what is posted in this review section.
These facts are true. However, there is an implied contract between a customer and a marketplace. For whatever reasons and without compensation (with the exception of a refund - which means I can buy less elsewhere at a higher price) there is no compensation.
The wait time suffered is tedious and hurtful for those who invested in this device as a Christmas present or as avid fans.
The causes behind the delay are murky at best. Phoenix tech estimates delivery times based on external factors (which vary but are realistic : customs, suppliers, warehouse, hq) . But ultimately the client is left with a sour taste in his mouth and with an uneasy feeling towards the company.

Through investigation it seems more has surfaced. Initially only 10% of promised stock promised was delivered on time. Community forums claim that the distributor associated with phoenix tech never received any pre-orders. That phoenix tech has lied on this forum and that problems continue to manifest with them. Will they be able to match their client demands or will this problems persist in future?
