Battery powered up the nook and had nothing but lines on screen. There’s something else wrong with the nook and I don’t want to put anymore money in it as it’s quite old. I returned the battery the other day.

Bought this to replace the battery in the Fire tablet 10HD 5th generation and it is perfect. Didn't want to throw out a perfectly good tablet due to a failing battery. Only wish Amazon would have made it easier to replace, but I know manufacturer's don't want people fixing their products and I am for doing just that to save money.

We won't know how good the battery is until we know how long it lasts, so the jury is still out. The screwdriver in the kit wasn't a good fit and I had to use one that I had and most people won't to dismantle and rebuild my Nuvi.

You should show me the shipping before I got to PayPal. It's deceitful to add the shipping after the fact. I want to know going in the total out the door cost before I commit to going to PayPal.

The instruction video was incomplete and misleading. On my Kindle, the screen was glued to the bezel and when I removed the bezel, the screen delaminated and the screen was ruined. The video needs to be updated to include a step to cut the bezel away from the screen using a razor knife. The Kindle is now unusable. Needless to say, I am very disappointed.

Installation video was very helpful. However, removing the back cover proved to be a real challenge. The small tool included was somewhat difficult to use because of its size. An exacto-knife proved to be a better tool.

Getting the back off of the Kindle can be extremely challenging because Amazon used some very strong glue between the Kindle cover and the backplate protecting the battery. I finally had to use a putty knife to separate the two items. The items that Amazon used to attach the battery faceplate to the body of the Kindle did not appear to be typical screws so the provided screw driver was not helpful. I had to use a alternate tool to remove the faceplate from the battery. But overall, the battery and the major steps provided in the video definitely guided me in providing new life to a very old, but highly durable Kindle and at a relatively low cost. I had previously thought that I would be being buying new Kindle and NewPower99 crushed that thought!!
