The installer worked with us to get the best solutions for our situation. We replaced an old one-piece garage door in a small garage with limited headroom. He was able to accommodate the situation with a low clearance solution.

I have never been disappointed with the level of service or the product.

I understand things break, there are only so many duty cycles on any piece of equipment. I expect things to eventually come off the casters. So... It's the level of service I've received over the years that keeps me as a loyal customer.

The technician called prior to his arrival, which was within the window specified by Precision Door Service. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and replaced the springs and had our door working quickly. He also inspected all the components of our door, and addressed several concerns I had about the condition of the cables, door tracks and hinges. I have had them service my door several times, and I have always been very satisfied with their service. The technician that came for this latest service call exceeded my expectations.

Precision always does a great job and has well trained technicians. The technician adjusted my door so it will continue working until he comes with the new parts later today. I recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair.

Loved that I could set up my appointment online and could chat with a rep before doing so. Appointment was for the very next morning. Tony showed up on time, and was professional and courteous. He kept me apprised of his progress and set expectations for the job. Gave me pointers on maintaining my door and how to silence some of the noise it was making. This is being written the very next day, and so far I'm very pleased and would recommend Precision to others.

We had a need to be in Salt Lake as soon as possible. We called another garage door company, and got a health product message preview. Precision arranged to have a rep here in just a few hours. He explained our options, quickly did the repair needed, reviewed with me how to manually open the door if we lost power, and was finished in less than an hour. I was very pleased and impressed with his work.

We needed to replace the motors and garage doors after 24 years. I love our new Martin garage doors! And the new motors are very quiet. Haven't noticed much difference with the insulation which was a main reason we choose the more expensive doors. Every employee was professional. Wish we would have taken before and after photos.

You guys came out and fixed our garage door and did a great job. The gentleman that came to our house was very helpful and very courteous. There were some issues of how much it was going to cost and I told him what we had been told and he was so great to call the office and see what was going on. We really appreciated all that he did for us.

I contacted the office and got immediate results. The rep apologized for the problems I had previously encountered and set to resolve the issue on the spot. I was contacted immediately by a technician and a panel was reordered that day. Will update again after installation.

This was a call-back issue so my star ratings are an average of both. First call was due to the shark tooth coming out of the belt. The first tech who came put one in and a week later that one fell out, so we had to call again to have another one installed. Seems that this is a common problem and may well be solved with better product engineering. Both techs were nice, professional and helpful. Response time is an issue -too long. And repeated arrival delays seem to be common - more so, we noticed over the two service calls. So, for nearly a week the door was useless and we had to manually raise/lower it since the 50 cent part kept falling out - but without it - the door is pretty much unusable.

Precision Overhead Garage Door of Salt Lake does good, quality work. They come when they say they are going to come and get the job done. We've never had to have them return to fix something they've missed or try and sell us something we didn't need. That being said for warranty purposes you, the homeowner, have to keep track of every receipt on each part you purchase from them and every service call they make because, no receipt, no warranty. Even with a receipt the "lifetime warranty" doesn't cover much.

We had the original door spring break and had Precision Overhead Garage Door of Salt Lake come out and replace both springs and cables so that we would have their "lifetime warranty." A couple of years later my father backed into the open door, damaging the door and knocking it off track. We tried to close the damaged door which then broke the cables. Of course this wasn't covered under warranty. A new door, new rollers, new cables, new springs and we were good for a few years. One day my wife pushes the button to close the garage door and half the door drops to within 2 feet of the ground while the other half hangs up close to the ceiling. I get home from work and find that one of the cables and one of the springs has broken. Precision Overhead Garage Door of Salt Lake comes right out, I can't find the paper work on the new door but I'm told it doesn't matter because cables aren't covered under the "lifetime warranty" and that the broken cable caused the spring to break therefore the spring isn't covered under the lifetime warranty either. Fast forward less than two years I see the door beginning to sag and inspect the cable. The cable is beginning to fray so I call Precision Overhead Garage Door of Salt Lake. They say: "Do you have the paperwork?" and "It doesn't matter anyway because cables aren't covered under warranty." and "The wear on the cables is most likely caused by the very old rollers, you should lubricate them with garage door lube." I didn't tell him Precision Overhead Garage Door of Salt Lake charged me to replace the rollers when they put in the new door because I couldn't find the paperwork to back it up.
