Extranomical Tours, founded in 2002, is a San Francisco sightseeing tour company that specializes in tours for people who generally do not like to take tours. Our clientele is very independent and likes to venture to places where most tour companies don't go to. Due to the small size of our groups, our guests receive a more personalized and exclusive experience from us. Our tours offer a distinct "traveling with friends" feel, so that most people interact with each other and so we are able to visit locations larger vehicles do not. For example, we have a short hike up to the Giant Sequoia grove on our one day Yosemite tour from San Francisco. On our California wine country tours, we visit small family-owned boutique wineries (too small for large buses) that produce such limited quantities you can only buy their wine at their winery!

The day before our scheduled tour to Yosemite, I was told that the tour will be conducted by Incredible Adventure. I was okay with a smaller van, and I was also okay with change of vendor. However, our guide Jill was walking very fast going down to the Grove, without checking to see if we were all okay with the breakneck pace. Also, our "dinner and toilet break" was only 30 minutes. That was really not feasible for us to do both in that short time. 10 minutes for bathroom break, 10 minutes for us to place our food order, that only left us 10 minutes to eat. I skipped dinner because I couldn't eat that fast. At the very least, we should have 45 minutes for dinner and bathroom break.

Our tour guide /the bus driver was very funny, knowledgeable in California history, geography, and wild life, he is a wonderful tour guide, Thank you .

The trip to Yosemite was remarkable! Everything was perfect. The timing, the way the bus driver/guide cared about us. The history I learned from him. The great sense of humor definitely added lots of charm to all stories he shared with us. Everyone was laughing and having a great time the entire day! I was amazed by how many places we could visit during only one day. It was a relaxed, educational and best bust trip ever! Excellent!!!

This tour was excellent. We are so glad we signed up for it. Kimmy is an outstanding driver and tour guide. The day was filled with significant points of interest and a thorough history to accompany them. She firmly and tactfully ensured we remained on schedule while keeping everyone amused and satisfied. This was a real pleasure tour. And the wine tastings and optional lunch were a real bonus.

Our tour guide (justin) was great! He kept the long bus ride entertaining...The muir woods was cool if you like nature and seeing amazing redwood trees...the wine tasting of course is the best part...

This is our 5th or 6th ride with your company. We take at least 1 Segway tour every time we are in San Francisco. I think we have taken all your tours and have loved them all. We have never had a bad experience. Cameron was an excellent tour guide. He was funny and made the ride so fun. Even though he is new to the area, he knew a lot about the sites and neighborhoods and it was fun seeing San Francisco through his eyes. He was also very attentive and made sure we stayed safe. We will definitely be back.

It was a good overall experience
The drive was good , and the time we got to spend there was quite okay too
We could not do the Giant Sequioas due to the weather and that's my only regret
I would encourage people to go for this

We had the best experience going to Yosemite National Park. Denise was our guide and she is awesome. She is knowledgeable of the place and while on the bus, she continued to tell us about beautiful California as well. She even volunteered to take our photos and now we have amazing shots that we can frame on our wall. Im glad i took this tour vs driving because we can just enjoy the scenery and it was relaxing. Thank you !!!

Booked my day trip to Yosemite via the extranomical website for the 6th April'2021. We had an excellent tour and would highly recommend it! Dustin was very knowledgeable & funny. Muir Woods was amazing! Loved the three wineries. The 3 course lunch with wine in Sonoma was outstanding! Will definitely use Extranomical Tours again!
