Extranomical Tours, founded in 2002, is a San Francisco sightseeing tour company that specializes in tours for people who generally do not like to take tours. Our clientele is very independent and likes to venture to places where most tour companies don't go to. Due to the small size of our groups, our guests receive a more personalized and exclusive experience from us. Our tours offer a distinct "traveling with friends" feel, so that most people interact with each other and so we are able to visit locations larger vehicles do not. For example, we have a short hike up to the Giant Sequoia grove on our one day Yosemite tour from San Francisco. On our California wine country tours, we visit small family-owned boutique wineries (too small for large buses) that produce such limited quantities you can only buy their wine at their winery!

This wine tour was AMAZING. We really enjoyed it. We were able to taste 5-6 wines at each wine tasting. They bring you to an area where you can select a place to lunch, but my group and I decided to purchase the lunch with the tour. The food was great AND we were three different wines to taste with lunch as well. I highly recommend this tour. The Muir Woods and getting to take pictures by the Golden Gate Bridge were added bonuses.

The tour was great. I have learned a ton about Yosimete and the places before getting there. The sites were breathtaking. This is a tour to make if you are a nature lover.

Let me start this of by saying that the wine tour was absolutely prenominal and this rating is based solely on the lunch. The first winery was Mayo family winery, the tour guide was very informative and had my favorite wine out of the three. The only downside was the host was not as accommodating to the younger 20-35 as to the older. After the first winery we went to lunch and it took fifteen minutes to figure out the restaurant. Im gonna cut this review short. I got food poisoning at the restaurant "The Plaza Bistro", I got the salad "baby mixed greens" and pork "pork scallopini". I recommend the tour, NOT THE LUNCH!!!!!!

It was an ok day. We booked to go to Monterey and we drove through it in two minutes with no stops. If we wanted to stop we had to call out to Roman but this is hard for people to do when you don?t want to put other guests out and make the whole bus stop because you want to. He should have scheduled a stop there and not made people feel awkward to do this. It was a Monterey tour and we didn?t get to experience Monterey because Roman didn?t want to. It felt like we could only do what he wanted and not what we wanted even though we paid a lot of money for the tour.

It was an AMAZING trip! I highly recommend taking this tour if you do not have time to hike/camp at Yosemite. I took my parents here and they absolutely loved it. The tour guide, Denise, was an added charm to the whole trip. Her energy and enthusiasm added on to ours and made it all worthwhile!
