Our dining room chandelier went out in a small, brilliant flash of light. I had known there was trouble afoot because jiggling light bulbs that were out would get them going again. We love the chandelier with its Swarovski crystal accents. I've rigged it so it actually hangs from a hook and chain, rather than as a true flush mount as designed. It had been up for about 10 years or so with minor issues that occurred 2 or 3 times as mentioned before total failure. I took it down and disassembled it down to the sockets and sure enough one wire had somehow worn through at the junction with one of the sockets. This chandelier is almost identical to the Portfolio "Breely" ones that you can buy at Lowes for ~$90, where the reviews state that the wiring burns out somewhat easily. I decided I'd try these and bought two (just in case the wires burning out was endemic). Shipping was quick and communication was excellent and the wiring and sockets arrived - all for around $18. In a couple of hours (including some minor dusting and cleaning) I had it installed and our chandelier was back to its bright and glorious self - for less than cannibalizing one of the Lowe's Breely units... My family and I are very thankful to our Lord Jesus, the manufacturer of these items and to Atlanta Light Bulbs for an excellent solution.
