Very dense rubber should hold up well over time. It would have been nice if they included the adhesive but they didn't. I have to buy that separately somewhere else. I bought the 82 inch wide ramps, which came in two 41 inch pieces. Problem is that where the pieces are supposed to meet in the center, the edge of the ramp pieces are angled up toward each other, touching at the top but not at the bottom, leaving an A-shaped cavity which will have to be filled somehow to prevent a wheelchair wheel from getting caught there. Bad design. In my case, I have to trim the ramps since my doorway is less than 82 inches, so I will trim that area off, but if you want the ramps to be the full 82-inch width, you will have to deal with that cavity somehow to prevent wheelchair wheels from getting caught there. They should have made that edge vertical, not slanted.

i have request to send it back.. mt husband is in wheelchair. he is 77 i am 74. we theren to cut we can not get it to fit. i order 2. the 82 inch i want to send back. and i will send both back if ok. i can not use these and that is $200.00 i can use to find something i can use. i have not had a reply from them.

=I have had to have major, major surgery on my leg/knee and in a wheelchair. These threshold mats are super. I don't have to have both hands on the wheels in order to go over the thresholds anymore....saving my arms a LOT. I would have preferred not to glue them down, but they are still wonderful.

.I ordered my mats, and they came in the time frame I was given, and was delighted to get them. Because my rotator cuffs in my arms are shot, I don't have a lot of strength to go over thresholds. These mats made it so much easier to manage my daily things. My only comment that I have that is not about this company, but when they send these out, the driver of the delivery van should have knocked on the door, or rang the bell...because I ended up trying to haul them inside myself, which in a wheelchair is not always easy.They just left it and left. I was not happy, as it was a rainy time, and I was afraid it would be damaged by the weather. This company is very nice and helped me pick out the best ones for me. Thank you!!! .. Your online staff helped a lot!!
