I have a great recipe that I have modified over the years to improve it. Some of my friends like it much hotter than I do, so I began making a "side batch" and added the ghost pepper powder. They went crazy for it and I can't make it fast enough. Great product.

Played it safe and "handled with care". I wetted the tip of a tooth pick and put it on my tongue. Gad zooks! Yeah, not an approach to boast about, but, I played it safe. Suffice it so say, it's hot. It comes on quick and lasts. This spice has a fruity aroma but not so much that it overpowers the flavor of the food you add it too. But once again, it's hot. I enjoy it and will continue to add it to dishes!

Finally, a solution to my problems! I can put this powder into a little pill container and place it in my purse for instant spice action. So awesome. Carrying hotsauce in my purse was just too burdensome and most of them should be refrigerated anyhow. Rock on.

The Ghost Pepper powder works great for making everything spicier. A little goes a long way, so for those of you who are worried about the price keep that in mind. It is worth the price.

Since receiving my Jolokia powder (with very fast shipping), it has quickly become my favorite spice. The flavor is very reminiscent of Cayenne pepper, except that the Jolokia powder has more flavor than the Cayenne. It also has a lot more kick (though I admit it is not as spicy as I expected, based on reputation it made me sweat, but my head did not explode). If you find the Jolokia powder too spicy, I might suggest mixing it with some Cayenne powder, as the flavors are so similar. I've not tried this myself, but it should be good

My first experience with the ghost and this vendor. I get a nice citrus overnote and of course the hot flash which passes after a while. It doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the food it is used on. I'm pretty used to jalapenos and habenieros, so this was the next rung on the ladder into the inferno. The two dried ones are lethal too. I'm going to try the flakes next.

My goto spice for adding heat to almost any dish. Excellent way to add heat to your cooking without significanty changing the flavor. It takes very little to get a dish very hot.
