About this CompanyOur story begins back in 2000, when Laura and Scott Jordan - our future Pocket entrepreneurs - realized the world of fashion was light years behind the ever-changing world of technology. Laura was tired of carrying all of Scott’s gadgets in her bags and Scott’s traditional pockets couldn’t carry everything he needed...and a man purse was out of the question. Scott had a brilliant idea: he would create a modified fisherman’s vest but with extra pockets, enough to hold all of his essentials but still stylish enough to wear out around town.
Those were the humble beginnings of SCOTTeVEST. The company has now evolved into an international business, with a full line of men’s and women’s vests, jackets, pullovers, hoodies, shirts, dresses, underwear, pajamas and pants; all designed to strategically hold and organize your personal belongings so whatever you need is always on hand.

Love that it is a skort. Love the modest length. Love the quick dry material - might even try using it as a swim skirt! Love the sale price too :) Can't wait to wear it on my upcoming trip to Hawaii!

Like this skort. Comfy stretch fabric with pockets. One credit card pocket in front waistband, dollar bill pocket in back waistband, and two side pockets with 2 inner mesh pockets inside the side pockets. I think it's a stretch to say there are 8 pockets as I can't imagine carrying around too much in the front pockets and I think my new iPhone is going to be too big for the inner mesh pockets, despite its stretch. My only wish is that one of the pockets had a zipper so I knew my phone, which I carry when I hike, was secure and not at risk of falling out if I'm scrambling over rocks. I might have to add a zipper or velcro myself.

Was able to place my order with an iPhone. Only issue was very difficult to see sizing chart on small screen. Also, the UPS/USPS hand off results in really delayed delivery. I placed a bunch of orders same day and all the other orders arrived days if not a week before the scottevest.

Called to check on sizing and decided on the small, but probably should have gone with my normal medium as it is a bit tight getting it over my hips. Love all the comfortable pockets and the light fabric. The navy blue is very dark. If more colors come out, I will try buying it again in a different color. Would love it even better if it was an inch or two longer, better when traveling to more conservative countries or for getting into touristy but conservative churches.

Called about sizing & appreciated the help. The person I spoke with was very professional. I gave him my measurements and we made our best guess as to what size to buy which was a small (my waist is 31" & hips 39"). It is a bit tight on the hips, so if I were to order again, I would get a medium.
