The company has now evolved into an international business, with a full line of men’s and women’s vests, jackets, pullovers, hoodies, shirts, dresses, underwear, pajamas and pants; all designed to strategically hold and organize your personal belongings so whatever you need is always on hand.

I have several of these vests and so far, this is my favorite. The fit is WAY better in this version than the other products I have. And it is very warm—a perfect fall/spring and maybe winter vest—with lots of layers! Now, it might run a bit small. I got a Medium thinking that I wanted extra room for all my goodies, but it’s a perfect fit. I don’t put much besides money, keys, lipgloss, and gum in the pockets. If I tried to out an iPad or camera in, it would be tight and I would look like a stuffed sausage. I purchased red because it’s my children’s school color, but I would love to get a few more colors when I’ve saved some money, because these vests aren’t cheap!

I’m really pleased with this. I bought the XL and it fits well over my hoodie. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I look forward to wearing on walks and upcoming trips in cooler weather. The gray is a great neutral color.

I just got my vest and am eager to try it out on our upcoming vacation. The fit is perfect, it's soft and is made from a nice, thick material. The quality of construction is great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wanted a black vest and the color is actually a dark gray. I called to confirm I received the correct color and the customer service rep said she has the same vest and it's dark gray, not black. If you're looking for a vest that is true black, you may want to consider going with a different style. But otherwise, it's great and I'm excited to use it.

I wear my Scottevests almost every day, especially in the cold winter weather. I have also purchased several that are made of lighter material so I may be able to wear them on the warmer days of summer. I love the convenience of the multiple pockets which zip closed so I don't lose any items and wearing one of my vests I don't have to carry a purse which is wonderful when I am hiking or walking my dogs.
Why SCOTTeVEST?
I like the numerous pockets of all shapes and sizes. I walk my dogs almost every day and it is wonderful to be able to carry my necessary items without having to deal with a bag of some sort. I also like the material used in the construction. It is warm and looks good too!
Improvement
On the website include a couple of measurements like length and width. Today there are so many different ideas of what constitutes small, medium or large, it's difficult to know which size to choose.

I was disappointed that the fit was a bit snug. I would prefer somewhere an indication of measurements. I used to buy my clothes size large, but in the past few years, large has gotten to be too large so I have changed to medium. The vest fits more like the old size medium. If I order another I will try a large to see if that fits better.

Needed to exchange product. Additional information was needed as to how this was to be done. Had a chat with a person on line. This individual was great. Had to make a phone call on same issue . The person I spoke to on the phone was not very personable.

I wear these vests just about every day. In this cold weather they keep me toasty warm. I love that my iphone fits in one of the breast pockets so I can keep it warm and it will work even when I am walking my dogs in the bitter cold! The other pockets are great too, especially the inside ones where I can feel my credit cards and other items are safer.

It's a good product. I use it as a utility vest for.my delivery job. It holds most everything. I wish there was a place to put my water bottle. The back of the vest on the lower spine would be a good place to put beverages.

My sister is a Wonder Woman. Doing a million tasks a day for all. She also helps our shared father who 92 to doc visits and local events with great grand kids etc. SHE NEEDED POCKETS! So as a thank you for all she does I sent the vest. SHE LOVES IT! Says it is soft and comfortable. Did say it feels like body Armour when adds her IPad, but uses that pocket mostly for important papers etc. BUY IT!

I wasn't sure I could really travel without a purse or heavy bag. This fabulous travel vest put all my doubts aside. I'm an elderly traveler, so I need to go as light as possible. This purchase allows me to board the plane with only my computer in hand (although there's plenty of space for your pad on the inside.) Thanks, Scotte

The fleece vest might be too warm in summer months for some travelers. But since the description says "fleece", no one should be surprised at its warmth and weight. There are other options for cooler material if desired. This one is perfect for me.

I ordered a Women's XL but received a Men's XL instead. I tried it on and it seemed to fit well even with the men's vest instead of women's. I haven't tried the pockets yet, but the iPad and iPhone pockets were obviously too small. Very disappointed! I liked the feeling of the fleece and wish you made a jacket with long sleeves (detachable) because I would definitely purchase one. Couldn't even get them to fit at all inside!

I am a first time customer, and the sizes confused me. I am used to seeing all the regular sizes, but don't know what the M-1-10 sizes indicate. So I wasn't sure if I got the correct size or not.
