The opener performs as advertised. It is quite and is exactly what I needed. Just make sure to read the installation directions carefully if you have swinging doors as they are not very detailed. I’ve had it installed for two weeks so far, and I am totally satisfied. I only wish I had found the product sooner.

This is a great product for those who have carriage garage doors and want a good product for a great price. Installation was not difficult and the doors work perfectly.

Just had the garage, outswing carriage door opener installed - and so far so good. God quality - made in Germany - works very well! No info on long term however.

These openers need to have battery back up. Not all garages have a service door as a back up entry. It's a 24 volt system already. An add on option should be available Install instructions are outdated I understand you are distributors, but also think there are many proactive steps to take

Since I have not had an extended use of the door openers (I got two), my comments will center on the installation process. For the most-part, the installation instructions were quite good. I had only one real glitch in the process. There was one instruction missing (I think)--that not doing it, caused me to take down the track and essentially start over. When inserting the motor carriage onto the c-rail, it is important to be sure the "H" stop is removed prior to its insertion. The "H" stop must be between the motor carriage and the back end of the rail. I just followed the instructions literally--without evaluating the picture of the final result--hence the "H" stop was not in the correct placement. Also, I used longer lag screws to attach the push rods to the doors...the ones provided seemed to be pretty skimpy. Other than that, the installation went as intended--even better when I installed the second unit. I found that it went easier to install the C-rail and motor assembly prior to installing the two push-rods for the carriage doors.

We've installed two openers on our carriage house (out swing) doors. And we love them! They operate so quietly. The doors swing open gracefully. My wife wonders why everyone doesn't have doors - and openers - like these!

We love the hardware we bought and we will never change to normal garage doors. The doors open perfectly. However, the end of the poles that attach to the motor were not cut so I had to cut them myself to allow them to swing. The attachment for the door, the screws that hold the bracket onto the door were very short. There was about a quarter of an inch of screw that was actually in the door and I ended up ripping the bracket out of the door multiple times. I went out and bought 4 inch screws to solve this. These modification were something I actually expected to do because our doors are 60 year old barn doors and they weight a lot more then a new carriage door would. If you have brand new carriage doors these will work perfectly. If you have old ones like we do then chances are your good with your hands and you'll be able to modify them to fit your doors perfectly. My wife would like to thank you because she no longer has to get out of the car in the rain to open the doors by hand after working for 14 hrs. And we would both like to thank you for giving our doors the functionality of a new house while keeping the look and style of the old house we fell in love with.
