I just installed a box rail system for to barn doors going into a bedroom. The system worked reall good. There was 1 problem that I had with one of the rollers. I asked for another part, and I got it in 2 days. Service and products are awesome.

I used this box rail hardware to mount an old 5 panel wood door (~1890) as our master bath door. My application required that this be mounted on a 1x4 poplar ledger, which was fairly easy to install, and hardware mounted easily to it. The rollers that mount to the door are very sturdy. I have two issues, first when I put the door into the rail the first time, the bolt scraped against the rail. There was a section of threads that had been ground off to prevent this but it was not in the right spot. I had to grind some extra section of threads down in the shop. Second, it is 'oil rubbed bronze' paint. This is clearly indicated in the description, but at this price point it would be really great if it was plated with bronze and oil rubbed. Also the paint was scratched on all four of the mounting brackets during shipping. Not a huge deal as most of it buffed out, but then I had to be very careful not to scratch the pain on the rail or mounting brackets during install. After the mods and re-install the door and hardware looks great and slides smooth, gently, and quietly. A perfect fit for our project. 4 stars because of the mods and ORB paint.
