First, I was impressed that the accompanying information was so clearly presented. Second, upon the first wearing I was happily surprised and relieved that the aids worked so well. Third, once they are properly in place I am not aware that I am wearing them because they are so smooth and lightweight. (The VOLTs are my third set of hearing aids.) Fourth, my deepest thanks to the creator who had a mission to make low cost hearing aids for people of average means. I would not be surprised to learn that the company has in place or is planning some sort of program to supply some amount of their products to those of truly needful means. Overall, a truly excellent experience. Price of course, the initial draw. Add to that website clarity. Follow that with the so easy to process information in the materials that accompanied the hearing aids. The statements on follow-up service offer a nice degree of comfort. The MD VOLTs (my third set of various types of hearing aids over the years) have given me a renewed lightness when interacting with others...the low-level stress of not hearing well no longer a factor in my daily life. Another plus: they are so comfortable. Thank you, MD!!

Love the product. Somewhat hard to find a good place for plugging both hearing aids at the same time because of the size of both of the plug ins for both aids. It would be wonderful if you could plug both aids into one recharging device. But the sound is great and they are easier to put in than my other aids.

I received the hearing aids about a week after I had ordered. Since this was my first attempt at using hearing aids, the sound was little hard to get used to - didn't feel quite natural. The devices pick up sound very well and I liked the convenience of the rechargeable battery. It has four programs to choose from for different types of settings, but I found that this was not a good fit for me since I go from one environment to another all day long, and I was constantly having to have my hands up on my ears to adjust either the volume or the program. I thought that being able to adjust the program would be an advantage, but I had to adjust so much that it quickly became a burden. One of my two devices stopped being able to hold a charge after about three weeks and so it didn't work after that. I never did find a program that I felt completely comfortable with. These may work for some folks who do not have to constantly change environments (from loud to soft, etc.) but they became inconvenient for me to constantly have to make adjustments with my hands and therefore there were not "hands free" anymore, which hindered my ability to perform tasks.

This is a very good system as it is replacing on older model by a different manufacturer that has failed me on several occasions. It is easy to wear, easy to clean and I like the fact that I don't have to keep replacing batteries.
