4 programs provide versatility. very easy to change programs and volumes to varying needs. only problem for me is that the numbers on volume dial are small and not very easy to read. great product. great value

Ordered them hopeful they would suit my need for age related loss in hearing volume. After using them a week, I am well satisfied, and hearing people with softer voices in meetings and settings that I could not hear for the past four or five years! I like the rechargeable feature of the Volt

I have been wearing them everyday trying to get used to them. I can't seem to eliminate enough back ground noise and still have a conversation with the person I am facing while eating in a restaurant situation. Going to keep wearing them to see if it gets better with a little more time.

I am a prior user of an MD "air" and it is vastly superior IMO. The "volt" is appreciably heavier conflicts with my glasses, and it has uncomfortable ear pieces. I am going back to changing those awful little batteries, which by the way, one can carry but if you run out of charge with the "volt" you have no recourse. Theoretically, the "volt" has one more setting than the "air" but it seems unusable to me, and the "volt" does not have a setting for auditoriums and lectures which I use when in a place that is equipped. The "air" is a superior product IMO.

I had a pair of MD Airs that were lost on a vacation. After 3 months of waiting for them to turn up "somewhere," I gave up and purchased the Volt. I hope I like the charging system because I already charge two items overnight. I still carry a lot of batteries; they are a pain to change, but at least I can restore the Air. If I forget to charge the VOLT, I will be in a bad place for the day. I am very disappointed in the VOLT. It is heavy and uncomfortable to wear with glasses. I did NOT like the charging system and much prefer carrying batteries. I will be returning these although I really liked (and used) my MD Airs.

I am 75 years old and have had a hearing loss since early childhood. I failed my military physical in 1964 due to hearing loss. However, I managed to get through college and advance through business career to upper management with no major problems related to hearing loss. I realized that I was not hearing everything that other people were. I was advised to try hearing aids for many years, but for years they were only amplifiers. Recently my hearing has gotten worse and I began a serious search. I refuse to pay $7,600.00 for a product based on a 50 cent microchip. I saw the VOLT reviewed in my local newspaper and decided to try them. I immediately experienced good results. I wore them about 6 hours the first day (not recommended by MDhearing.) It was amazing what a noisy world we live in. Getting accustomed is quite a challenge. I had no point of reference to see if I was hearing what my wife was hearing until I noticed a clock ticking in the house. My wife has always heard it; so now I knew I was hearing like she was. I just had a birthday dinner in a very noisy restaurant and did very well. I am still learning how to coordinate the settings and the volumes for different situations. TV broadcasts are terrible; soft voice, then loud commercials, background music in everything! I am determined to make these work. Price of course was a major factor, but also the rechargeable batteries are a BIG plus. Barring any major problems in the next 20 or so days, I am very satisfied. Steve

These were recommended by a couple friends, so we will see how they work. The ordering went well.

The hearing aids have 4 programs. I don't like the volume control, otherwise they work. I am still figuring out the best setting for the situation I am in. Personally for me, I would prefer to block out the high end sounds. These do not allow that ability. I will keep working to use them for my needs. Everyone else needs to decide what they need.

The quality of the product is very good. And the 45 day trial period gives you plenty of time to make sure the product is right for you. I purchased these for my dad and he is happy with them for now. He is still getting used to them. The only shortcoming so far is that the battery on one of the hearing aids takes two hours longer to charge compared to the other hearing aid. Both are set to the same program and the same volume. Both are charged using a dual usb charger. So, I do not understand why such a big difference. I hope the battery life on one of the hearing aid is not compromised. Other than that, I would have given it all the stars above.

I had tried hearing aids before, but I was never satisfied with them because of the terrible background noise and the whistling when it was windy outside. the MD Hearing Aids has improved that situation to a point that I am completely happy with this product

Why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
