Overall easy to install for a first timer. System works as it should. Folks at Pioneer were very easy to work with. Satisfied with my decision to go with Pioneer to heat and cool my 30 x 40 shop.

Install was simple. Had an HVAC guy come at end to pull a vacuum, check for leaks, and fill out info for warranty.

Ordered online and had it delivered to my home. This process was extremely easy. Installed unit at my lake house with little problem, had help from neighbor who recently installed one in his house. This helped as the instructions are not that detailed. He knew some tricks he learned when installing his. I am very pleased at how quite it is while running. The price of unit was very fair.

This evening I just finished up the installation of my new mini split AC unit which I placed in my barn workshop. I have an open room 36X48 with a 10ft ceiling, three windows and two doors and this unit cools it very easily. The building is very well insulated already but now I'm working on other construction activities and having the AC will make all of that much easier now in the height of summer with at or near 100 degree days with high humidity. The kit is very complete and I ordered mine with the 10ft lines and the wall mount bracket kit. All of the parts appear to be high quality and overall the installation was not difficult. I did find the installation manual to be rather vague for the first time installer but after some careful reading and some thought it all went smooth enough. About the biggest snag for me was finding an adapter that would work with the mini split's service port. I should have ordered one when I ordered the unit because finding one locally was tough(I live in rural MO). But I managed to find one, get the system pumped down for an hour, leak checked and running. When running the unit is amazingly quiet both inside and outside of the building. During the installation I was a little worried about the condenser unit transferring vibration through the wall of the building in some way, but my worries were unfounded. There were no directions in the wall mount kit but I figured it out. It comes with nice thick rubber washers but it would be nice if it would have included some large fender washers to work with them for mounting. If you've never installed one of these systems before but like me you have a lot of AC experience from working in automotive you can get it installed nicely with very little trouble if you just take some time to read through the manual and think it all through.
