It didn't come with instructions, but you can figure it out. Consider factoring in a trip to the hardware store for hardware that will better suit your installation. The included hardware worked for me, but it took some work finding studs through vinyl siding on my garage.

The level really wasn't too helpful but the cross bar made the job a ton easier. Definately use your own level though!
