This hat is nice. My issue with it was in the packing. I ordered two hats from the fashionablehats.com and they put them together in one shipment. This hat was on the bottom of the two that shipped and as a result, the band was creased. I'm trying to smooth it out, but so far, no good. I'm probably going to have to pull it off and use fabric glue to reattach it. I've ordered half dozen hats from fashionable hat and this is the first time I've been disappointed with their care shipping one one.

Hat size runs quite small. I wear a 71/8 hat therefore I ordered a medium size in this Walrus hat. Turns out it just barely goes on my head but not enough. It leaves quite a bit of space between the brim and my ears. I hope it will stretch out enough to fit. With that and the fact that the first hat I ordered never actually made it to my house, as the USPS claimed, this was not a good purchase. Fashionable hats did give me a 20% discount on this order but it was already on sale with a 20% discount. All in all, not a good deal for me. Fashionable hats and USPS made out pretty good though. I feel somewhat taken advantage of.

I have 3 and I really should have one in Black. Very pro construction. Indistinguishable from hats that cost hundreds. 2” brim is optimum, and crown is not too high. I do prefer an absorbent sweat band, but you cant have everything. Where would you put it !
