I added the Able tri pod base to both my Lola cane and my folding Evening Splendor cane. It is almost like having an extra foot! The tri pod is very flexible and pivots easily so it moves along with me. The actual base itself really helps with my balence and ability to get around without fear of falling. I purchased this prior to trip to a Carribean Island where I did alot of walking on various surfaces-uneven sidewalks,grass & sand,as well as in airports,on "walking sidewalks",escalators & some wet tiles. A perfect way to stabilize a walking stick/cane and to 'stand up' when not in use at a restaurant, or to assist when can is dropped - simply put foot on t able tripod and it becomes upright again. On the minus side, this product is not available from shops in Australia - and the costs to bring to Australia are not cheap!

Learned that once I steady the cane, it WILL stand on it's own. If it should tip over, simply step on the longest tip (watch yourself) and it will pop right back up to you! Works great; no bending required! A good choice cane!
