The cane is fine except for the gold ring I would like to have it another 1/2” or an inch down farther because it rubs a blister on my thumb, but my hands are also a little bigger than most men. I use this cane more than the other one I bought at the same time.

My order specified the length of the cane. It was my assumption that would be the finished length with the rubber tip in place. I was wrong. You cut the can to the specified length; then added the tip, making the cane longer than specified.

It was my fault. The care is a great cane, but too long for me. I am only 5’ 5’’ tall . Need a cane about 3’’ shorter than this one. If you have such, please let me know.

This cane is more beautiful than pictured. Can't imagine better craftsmanship. This has become my "dress" cane for dinners & seeing friends & even for visits to doctors' offices. I'm not yet accustomed to needing a cane but this solid oak job makes it almost cool. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of respect people give to a caned person - - in restaurants, on the street, even in supermarkets.
