This is a great cane. It is very sturdy yet still quite lightweight. I thought it looked good in the pictures, but once I received it realized the pictures did not do it justice. In the first week that I had it, I had two different random cane users that I ran into compliment me on it, and inquire on where I purchased it. This is my second cane from Fashionable Canes and I have been very happy

I use this cane daily! I can't get around without some assistance, so this cane is an extension of my arm. Insurance would have payed for an adjustible metel cane, but I didn't like the look of them. I hope to be able to get around without assistance someday, but I will still use the cane for its curb side appeal. The solid oak is beautiful!! Between the look of the oak and the style of the Fritz

I indicated that it slips, I live in Colorado, ice and snow are common. I also purchased the Ice gripper tip. Problem solved

If you are a wood lover this is a cane for you. Beautiful solid oak with a very professional finish that brings all of the very nice grain out in the wood. The shaft and handle are made from the same wood and complement each other. Very sturdy mid weight cane that gives you a real sense of security when using it. My only objections: You should not use a shiny finishing product i.e. shellac or varnish. A cane with heavy use like mine would be much better with oil finish, and I could maintain it with lemon oil. Your canes show nicks and scrapes (from being dropped etc.) and your wood polisher and conditioner will not cover the nicks up. I don't buy the cane for look. Strictly for utility. When I buy anoth
