We put the wheels on both of our kids trunks. It makes it easier to get them to the car and to move around camp. Great investment.

I would have given five stars, but when we dropped the trunk off, the camp asked us to remove them, because it makes trunks hard to stack and they don't do well on the rocky paths. But I will be grateful for them at the airport. They are very easy to pop in and out. One thing they should sell with the trunk is a cushioned grip to tuck around the small metal handle, because it digs into your hand when pulling the trunk on wheels.

Not only do these wheels make it easy to transport your trunk (which gets heavy when full!), I love that they come in pink! They're really easy to remove when the trunk needs to lay flat, you literally just slide them out. I highly recommend these wheels.

Easy to attach and works perfectly! Smooth rolling, making moving the trunk around a breeze. Haven't tried it on gravel or anything, but pulling it around on a flat surface works wonders, even when the trunk is full and heavy.

Bought wheels for camp trunks. Love them! Easy to apply and remove. I cannot imagine carrying a fully packed trunk. The wheels are a must !\nThanks :-)

I was worried that I was not going to be able to get my son to camp easily. My worries are over. The wheels are great, easy to put on and off. I rolled the trunk around the house and then outside and it works great. I am pleased with how well the heavy trunk can be moved. I ordered the trunk with the wheels.

We have people helping us get our trunks from the cars to the cabins and have never needed the wheels. Major waste of money for our family.\n\nIf you know you need them, then go ahead and buy (but heavens, the price!)

I really debating getting the wheel system...but well worth the money. I am so glad I added it on to the trunk order. Easy for my daughter to install and take off wheels by herself. Makes moving a full trunk super easy!

The trunk loaded is VERY heavy. Wheels are a must. We are on our second trunk because the first one had one screw that came through the bottom when the manufacturer added on the wheel system. Now our replacement has arrived and all three screws are sticking through the bottom, just enough to knick a finger, catch on clothing or eventually cause the lining to tear. I strongly suggest the company either use shorter screws or less "elbow grease" when attaching the system to the trunks. Other than this issue, the wheel system is a must. I did read the review about the handle and tall vs short people. They have a point. It seems the company would have to offer a different wheel system to accomadate this need. Regardless, the trunk would be a huge struggle for a young person to move about without wheels. If you forgo the wheels, plan on finding some wheel system to move the trunk about when fully loaded.
