I did a LOT of research before purchasing this trunk and this one is by far the best on the market. It just arrived - 2 business days after the order was placed. My daughter put it in the kitchen to show off to all her friends (and washed the kitchen floor! Thanks Everything Summer Camp for that extra bonus!!). The size and quality is perfect. I guarantee you'll be getting at least 3 more orders from her friends.

Pros: Strong construction Cons: Don't have one yet. Comments: This trunk came in with a little dent on the top where the metal frame was. It probably happened during shipping because the same dent was on the card board box. It did not interfere with the function of the trunk so I just kept it. Pros: At first I was reluctant to buy a trunk on-line for fear of getting a piece of junk particle board box. This trunk is definitely worth the money. No surprises here. It is solid plywood, with solid metal trim & hardware and a really heavy duty latch. Cons: The main locking latch has both exposed and covered screws. The exposed screw heads should be tamper- proof to inhibit their removal. This would add extra vandal resistance. Comments: If you are looking for a trunk for a college student. Buy this one. Pros: This dorm trunk is not only durable, but it looks great in his dorm room, provides the additional storage that he needs - both inside & on top!!! He now has a great place to keep his personal items that he can lock on weekends that he is away, keeping friendly fingers (& nibblers) out of his secret stash of food & homemade goodies and secure his electronics! He also has a great table top or ottoman to rest his feet on !! Cons: I wish that I ordered it sooner!! :) Comments: Customer service & the quality of this trunk are second to none! The representative was great & she did exactly as she said & the trunk was delivered to my son's dorm quickly - actually a day ahead of my expectations!!! He loves it! Thank you!!

Pros: Perfect for my older daughter to keep her valuables away from the hands of my younger daughter. Big enough for it to last her through college. Cons: None noted Comments: Only glitch was a loose latch that couldn't be fixed. Customer service was awesome to switch it out for us. We'll be buying another one for our son!

Pros: Pros: Larger and sturdier than I thought it would be. Pretty good quality and perfect for the dorm! Cons: Purchased the wheeling system but when goods are in the trunk the metal handles will cut into your hand as you pull. They definitely need a padded handle...I used an oven mitt! Pros: GREATproduct we love it. I ordered this trunk for my nephew who is attending college for the first time this year as a freshman. The quality,durability and size of this trunk is exceptional. Pros: Trunk is very strong and sturdy with ample space. It comes with an option of putting in a shelve which I didn't get but with out it gives additional space for larger items. Cons: Some of the concerns were that it was a little bit to heavy without anything in it. Once I loaded it up I needed a friend to carry it. Also, be careful dragging it, it will scratch any wooden surface.

Pros: Sturdy, attractive, great size, nice interior. Cons: Absolutely nothing Comments: The customer service that we were given by dorm trunks.com was outstanding. If the product alone wasn't good enough reason to rate it so highly, the customer service would put it over the top. Thankfully both the product and the service can't be beaten.

Pros: Solid construction and perfect size for bringing to son's dorm room. Comments: Don't waste your time and money buying some other brand trunk. We looked at many on the web & a few locally, the quality of this trunk blows away all the others that we looked at and this unit is worth the price.
