This is only working sometimes. Messages don't come through all the time, message log dissapears. Notifications go off but cannot view anything. Will be returning if someone cannot help me work this out. This needs to be a reliable form of communication and its not.

We're sorry to hear you're having troubles with your Angel Watch.
The SIM card should have been included in your package.  It wouldn't be inside the box but rather inside the package with the box and might easily have been discarded by mistake.  

We'll be more than happy of course to send you a replacement SIM.

For the other issues, please ensure that you're using the latest version of the Angel Watch app and have accepted all permissions.

Using another SIM card can also be problematic as different networks have different settings.  Our SIM's on the other hand are designed for a Plug & Play solution that works reliably and wouldn't give you the instability or (depending on your location) coverage issues that could be causing your issues.  

If you'd like, please give us a call anytime from Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm MST and we'll perform some troubleshooting steps and get your Angel Watch working the way it should.

You forgot to include SIM card so I had to purchase another and wait for delivery. Now watch only works sometimes. Chat log dissappear, my notifications constantly going off but cannot view anything? Will be returning if someone cannot fix. I have wasted a lot of my time on this thing and very frustrated. Overall disappointed..

Love the concept but disappointed by the app. Not user friendly and very glitchy. I also was disappointed by the fact that approved family members can’t have separate chats with watch.

We're sorry to hear that you're finding the app a little glitchy.  We'd be more than happy to help get things straightened out for you and working more reliably.  It might just be a setting that needs adjusting and if you call us on Monday, we'd be more than happy to assist.

Yes, conversations using the Angel Watch app are shared family conversations but you're also able to set up direct person to person messages using the built-in Line app (similar to Skype).  Anyone can download the free Line app, become friends with the watch and communicate privately over voice, video and messaging. This is a great option that allows for your child to be able to have communication with people who you would not necessarily want to have access to the personal information available to Angel Watch Family Members (location, remote pictures, drop in audio, etc).

Charger is unlike any other and it stopped charging after 1 week. Watch was ok, video calling and calling from the app never rang on watch, but I could call her from the regular phone with number. GPS was ok. I expect a refund or a new charger.

I had been looking for a watch for years and researched all of the watches (Gizmo, Ticktalk, off brand, etc..) and was so discouraged by the shortcomings of the other watches out there that I almost gave up. When I discovered Angel Watch, I really tested this watch out extensively before I trusted it to my kiddo on day 1 of school. This watch really delivers and we couldn't be happier. The critical factors that won this watch out for me vs the others are (1) real, live, knowledgeable, helpful and responsive customer service, (2) battery life that actually lasts all day, (3) real texting to approved contacts vs. just sending voice recordings back and forth. Once you get into the watch the wealth of promised features (video calls, gps, geo fencing, SOS, pedometer, etc...) actually work! I’m most grateful that this will push off the begging for an iPhone for a many more years. For us opening our kids up to the risk of the internet for the sake of safety was something we dreaded but now it’s not an issue. Thank you Angel Watch!
