I bought this as a present for my husband who is into camping/survival gear. He is also a police officer, so I ordered the thin blue line option as one of the cord colors. I like that it is meaningful, yet subtle enough that it doesn't scream "I'm a cop!" He likes it and has been carrying it around on his key chain. It's a fun and unique gift idea!

It took a lot longer to receive this than I expected. It was a present, but luckily I happened to order it over a month in advance so I got it on time. I'm sure you probably included the expected shipping time somewhere on the site and I just missed it, but it would be nice if it was somewhere a little more obvious so if people are ordering as gifts, they will know it might take longer to receive.

had this key chain for about 4 months and i gotta tell ya, this thing is great! i wear it to my high school and they don't even know i have the ability to survive right on my car keys! most of the time i have it in my pocket and i forget its even there! great product! in about 3 months my birthday is in September and my mother is going to get me another companion and an adventure and a adventure core tube! love my mom! but i only had 1 slight problem. i fell down the other day and it made a snap noise in my pocket, I am pretty sure it was the ferro rod but its OK. love this thing you really need one! wazoo your the best!!!

I will order several items today , as for use in educating my students and friends ! It's about time someone has created a "useful para-cord bracelet". As a 35+ yr. Inst. from the Arctic to the Amazon - I always question people wearing the "other" bracelets . "And what will you do with that ? ! What knowledge do you have to apply along with 550 cord ? " Sorry to say not one seems to have any at all - duh . THANK YOU Wazoo and Crew - Made in USA.

I really love my companion. I don't even notice it being in my pocket, and it is very well made. I use it as my keys holder and it shows no wear or tear and doesn't and any bulk to my pocket.
