I've always had problems falling and staying asleep, but this cream has really helped. I apply it to my wrist about 30 minutes before bed and fall asleep soon after. I like the fact that it's easy to use and I wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy.

This certainly works, I have taken melatonin many times in the pill form higher dosage even and does not work as well as this. I have such trouble staying asleep and i have actually gotten 8 hours three nights in a row, I am a little groggy in the morning but i think it is just not being used to the cream or a full nights sleep for that matter. I put half on my 8 year old and it help her too. She has severe add and on medication that makes it hard for her to fall asleep. THe last few nights she has slept right through

I've been taking Ambien off and on for years because I can't seem to wind down and fall asleep. I tried the Maxasorb D3 cream and was so impressed, I decided to try the melatonin cream. I use it about 30 minutes to an hour before I need to sleep and feel it kick in (and in a better way than Ambien). You have much more control over when it kicks in with the cream than with a pill. Also, you can adjust your dosage more easily by how much you pump out. The pill version of melatonin always leaves me with a sleep hangover. I plan to try this on my next overnight flight--something I'd never do with Ambien. Great product!

I work crazy hours. I have to work late night, then be up early in the am to be back at it. Problem is that I'll be WIDE awake for a few hours after I get home from a late night shift & cannot wind down. Knowing I have to be up early keeps me from relaxing even more. I don't like taking sleeping pills because they cause me to have a sleepy "hangover". This lotion solves that problem. Relaxes me without that residual sleepy hangover in the morning.

Bought this for my dog who has Cushings disease. She needs to sleep sometimes when the cortisol is dumped in her system. She pants and is exhausted. I saw on a previous review that someone had used it on their dog. I just rub a pump on the inside of her ear. This worked great. Very happy with purchase.

Fall asleep fast. This stuff is great! It absorbs right into your skin. It is unscented - which I love and has a light "vitamin" type scent - so I know it's potent. I bought a couple of these tubes - different ones - and all of them seem to work awesome.

My sleep does not come easy, and I had to do lots of research and trials to find what works for me. While I am taking lots of supplements to help me sleeping, Melatonin is one of them. While oral melatonin supplements improve my sleep, I've learned that melatonin appears in rather low levels in the blood due to prominent first-pass degradation in the liver, which can limit skin access. And apparently, the skin contains melatonin receptors, which means that melatonin also plays an important role in regulating skin function and structure. People with reduced melatonin secretion not only suffer from the insomnia, but are unable to benefit from its effects in the rest of the body. Topical Melatonin enhances the skin s nightly repair cycle as well as helping to sleep better. Every night, I am taking Melatonin orally and also use it on my skin. In my experience, it is a winning duo. I am still using my regular night cream and on the top of it - I am using Melatonin cream. Works well on the skin appearance too - I wake up looking refreshed even if I still do not get my so much needed 8 hours of sleep.

I recently realized that I had become addicted, or rather dependent, on over the counter sleep aids and decided that I really needed to change that. I quit traditional over the counter sleep aids cold and have switched to only occasionally using products such as melatonin and other natural sleep aids. However, not all brands of melatonin work on me. I don?t know why, but I can tell a big difference between certain brands. I have never tried any melatonin delivered like this, but I thought that it would be a good time to give it a try and I have to say that I am a bit shocked by how much well this actually works. I apply it on my stomach because I don?t want to risk this brushing off on my daughter, who is 3, if I have to pick her up or take her back to her bed if she wakes up in the night. It almost works too well. I felt groggy one morning that I used this cream in the middle of the night because I was having trouble falling asleep. This is unusual for melatonin, but I?m not really complaining because I am thrilled that I haven?t taken any over the counter sleep aids in almost a month! Yay! Overall, I am completely pleased with the product and most definitely recommend it and purchase it in the future. I will update my review if my opinion changes for any reason.

I live with sleep aphtha and always will. I've tried melatonin to help me sleep before, but always in pill form. I'd say the results were always mediocre at best. Sometimes I felt that it did absolutely nothing. So I was skeptical about using Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream. I was wrong. Very wrong. Wow let me tell, this stuff is awesome! The first night I used it, I rubbed it on my forearms and laid down and closed my eye (Hoping to relax my thoughts)...and that's all I remember. I remember thinking about the ocean (that is my place of Zen). I don?t remember falling asleep! I am blown away by how well this stuff works. And it doesn't make you feel hungover the next day. After that first night, I was up at 5am, ready to start my day, no problem. The really nice thing is that you don't need to use a lot of this stuff for it to work. You don't slather it all over your body; you just put it on your pulse points. If you need a little more, put on a little more. No big deal. Therefore, this bottle should last for several months. What a deal! Pros: - Cream vs pills - Works great - Not druggy - Very light smell - I felt rested Cons - No problems ? If there is an issue, the review will be edited at a later time. I have now been using the sleep cream for about ten days. To be honest, the Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream by Vita Sciences is much more powerful and quicker-acting, but it is also considerably more expensive. When I first got this I tried it for one night and it got me to relax enough to help me fall asleep better. But when I tried to use it again for a second night, the cream wasn't cream anymore, it was just like oil/liquid and I even shook the bottle and tried pumping a couple more times on a napkin (not on my skin, I had wiped off the liquid off my skin). So I did not use it a second night. I contacted the company about this problem and they suggested that it could have been because it was left out in the sun, but there is no sun in my house, and it is well air conditioned. In the end, I got the same product as a replacement cream so I could fully test this product without worry. I guess the one bottle that I had might've been defective or something, but no worries, I tried it again for the next couple of days and the liquid never came back (it stayed as a cream). The pros about this cream is that it has no strong scent, it does absorb pretty well, it does help relax to help fall asleep. The cons: There are other melatonin products that I have tried that helped me fall asleep a lot quicker.

Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream, Insomnia Sleep Remedies 1.7 Fluid Ounce I have been taking melatonin since the middle of the 80's, always in the capsule form. I only took them a few times a month if I had trouble falling asleep but they were sort of effective. My doctor recommended them as the safest sleep medicine he knew of, so that was my attraction to them. I have to say the foam was very effective compared to the capsules. It worked quicker for sure! I will use it from now on. The only time melatonin does not work so well for me is when it is my leg and back pain keeping me awake. For just regular sleeplessness it is great. Just give it time to work, ( about an hour ), for me. Don't give up and use extra, it is not necessary. This is all natural and 100% safe. #vitasciences #melatonin

I really was drawn to this idea so decided to try it. Honestly I wanted to find a lower dose melatonin to try with my dog when she gets nervous. I take melatonin orally often myself. But this really did not affect my. So I tried putting a little bit in the inside of my dogs ear during a really bas Storm. She did not pant or shake as much. She was still alert but her nervous energy went down a bit. I tried it on one of the bigger dogs and seemed to take the edge off her anxiety as well. Now please note the seller did not intend the product to be used this way.

I have fibromyalgia, and with that I have severe insomnia. I maybe get two to three hours a night of sleep. It's been this way ever since I can remember. I used to take Melatonin pills for sleep, then they quit working. I won't take a prescription because it makes me feel worse. I saw this and I said let me give it a try. Directions say to apply one metered pump to your skin. The lotion has no smell, it's a very light cream. It doesn't tell you where to put the cream.so I decided to apply it to my hands. The first day I didn't feel anything. I still tossed and turned all night. Second night I applied to my neck. I actually slept three to four hours. I have now been using the sleep cream for about ten days. My results are mixed. I found if I apply the cream on my forehead, this is where it works the best. I can get about four hours of sleep. To me, it helps a little. But some help is better than none.

I received this Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream about a few weeks ago. This comes in a 1.7 ounce container with a pump top. This is a creamy lotion that massages into the skin and works to help the body drift off to sleep easily. In the past I have taken Melatonin 3 to 5 mg tablets for sleeping. I usually do not have a problem falling a sleep, but I can often work odd schedules and work in the middle of the night then I have to come home and sleep while my kids are in school. I like to use the melatonin to help me fall asleep quickly and easily on these days so I am awake and ready for them when they get home. To use this it only takes one pump which contains 3 mg of melatonin per dose. I use it on my days that I work nights and apply one does rubbing into my arm before going to bed. Usually within about 20 to 30 minutes from there I begin to get tired and fall asleep with no problems. It does not leave me feeling groggy or over tired when I wake up. I am very happy with this melatonin cream. The pump has 60 doses and is easy to use and convenient to keep next to my night stand. I unfortunately do not have a regular sleep pattern and this melatonin cream really helps to give me a great night sleep, no matter time I take it at. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

This is a great substitute for taking melatonin orally. I use it for our three year old and I have no complaints. I simply rub a half pump into her upper thigh area about half an hour before bedtime. She seems to get a more restful nights sleep with less waking up during the night. Make sure to use rubber gloves when applying or you might find yourself nodding off during the evening news. It is quite a bit more expensive than regular melatonin, but I feel the trade-off is quite worth it

I?ve been struggling with insomnia for years. I?ve been taking ambien at the maximum dose, which was recently cut in half due to an FDA change in regulations. You can imagine that half the dose of what I?ve been taking for half a decade just wasn?t working for me. I decided to try this because I?m frankly willing to try about anything at this point. This cream has been a lifesaver. I?ve taken melatonin pills before, which typically do nothing, so I didn?t expect much from this. But wow! What a surprise. Every night when I use this (in conjunction with my prescription meds) I find myself getting so drowsy that I can?t keep my eyes open anymore. And my sleep is much more solid through the night. There have been a couple of nights that I didn?t use it and I had trouble falling asleep and woke up in the middle of the night from a very light sleep. Putting the cream on each night helped me fall back asleep and get a much more solid sleep after that. I?ve also been putting a pump on my 4 year old daughter who has trouble sleeping. We?ve dubbed it ?dream cream?. She asks for it every night. She falls asleep quicker, sleeps better through the night, and wakes up around 7:30 am rather than her typical 6:00 am. A huge improvement. I highly recommend giving this a shot if you have difficulty sleeping.

I'm one of those that's ready for bed about 10pm, but I don't fall asleep until 11:30/12:00. It's annoying. I usually lay there for a while and I'll finally get a book out to try and fall asleep. I'll read until I start to doze off. Then I end up with about 6 hours of sleep. I've been taking this for about a week and I love it. I can get in bed at 10pm and I'm out about 10 minutes later. I get up in the morning feeling refreshed. I just rub one pump on my arm and I'm ready! I'm an on the go-mom! I'm always running the kids around and I coach competitive cheerleading in the evenings. I'm busy and I need a little help getting to sleep at night so that I'm ready for the next day. Maxasorb Melatonin has helped me so much! I love it!

So after using this product for a couple of nights I have started seeing a little difference in my sleep patterns. I use the FitBit and app to track my sleeping every night and thought it would help me judge better how this product was working for me. The nights I have used this product I have indeed went to sleep quicker and woke up feeling better. So when I looked at my FitBit readings it also showed I wasn't tossing and turning as much during the night, which is always a plus. So for me even though I haven't been using it for a long period of time I have really liked the results I have seen so far. If I continue sleeping as well as I have been I will definitely be repurchasing this product in the future. One of the things I really like about this product is that it doesn't use drugs to make you sleep like some other formulas. It's also hypoallergenic, yay no itchiness from chemicals! So if you are having trouble sleeping I highly recommend this product. I really think that the company has taken time to make this product work the way it was intended and make the formula feel great on the skin.

It?s not like a sleeping pill that knocks you out, it aids in helping to relax you and get you to sleep. Part of the way to help yourself to getting the rest you need is to make sure to apply the cream at the same time every night (or every time you use it) to get yourself into a routine time for relaxation before bedtime. This way you get the rest you need to wake up refreshed and ready for your day. I have been a major insomniac for so many years now, (actually too many to even remember) and I have been looking for something that could help me get myself back into some kind of a routine for sleep. I really didn?t want to try sleeping pills because I?ve heard so many different things about them (including becoming addicted to them). That was something I didn?t want because unfortunately sometimes things like that run in families. Never thought a cream would help put me to sleep, but it did! I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I had a hard time not only falling asleep, but also staying asleep. I rubbed one pump into my skin before I go to bed and I end up staying asleep throughout the night. Best part about it. I don't wake up groggy in the morning and feel refreshed. I recommend this to anyone who has used melatonin in the past to help fall asleep.

This is easy to use. With one pump you get the amount you need. Just rub it on your arms or legs, your choice. I did this just before bedtime. It absorbed quickly without any greasy feeling. It is enriched with melatonin, aloe vera and Vitamin E. It didn't have a smell either. I found that I fell asleep faster and stayed asleep. When I woke up the next day, I didn't feel tired at all. I found that I did not want to nap in the middle of the day, like I had been doing. As we get older the production of melatonin decreases. Maxasorb Melatonin Cream helps replenish melatonin levels which are naturally lost with age. I will be telling everyone I know who has trouble falling asleep about this product

I was fascinated when I heard about this new product. I have used melatonin occasionally through the years to help get a good nights sleep without having to take "drugs". Melatonin is all natural and is produced by the body but sometimes we don't get quite enough of it especially as we get older. I really was curious if Maxabsorb Melatonin Cream would really work for me. All you do is apply one pump of cream to get 3 mg of melatonin. I was actually a bit skeptical. But this does indeed work and it absorbs well through the skin. Amazing. So why use a cream instead of a pill? I guess there could be several reasons. Some people have a hard time swallowing pills for one and this is just a quick and easy small amount of cream to be rubbed in. It absorbs really easily, is non greasy, and works fast. I believe that is another reason to use this cream. Very fast absorption. Going through the stomach with a pill takes a bit longer. I would also think this would be handy to have at your bedside and use without having to take a drink of water with it. It is very convenient. Also this is nice for travelling to help with jet lag. Would be good for frequent business trips for sure. And how well does it make you sleep? Extremely well. I fell asleep fast, stayed asleep through the night, and woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. No grogginess or tired feeling. This is a great product. I am really impressed with it.

I have had sleep problems my entire life and I?ve tried every sleeping pill out there whether prescription or over the counter. I don?t like the prescription because it tends to make me feel like I?ve been drugged, and honestly, I?m not much on melatonin tablets either. Although I can?t believe it with all the research I?ve done, I had never heard of this before.Definitely intrigued? As directed I put this cream on my arms before I laid down to sleep. It didn?t feel greasy at all and absorbed quickly. There really isn?t much of a scent and what is there, is pleasant. It comes out in a measured dose so there is no wasting of the product. Unlike sleeping pills, this doesn?t zonk you out immediately. I really didn?t notice until the next morning that it basically lulled me to sleep ? I didn?t even realize I was getting tired. I guess this is what people that sleep normally feel like :) It worked great for me and it will be nice to have this when I travel, which I do quite a lot. Great product!

This Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream really surprised me. I have ADD, and I have a terrible time falling asleep even if I am fall over exhausted. My mind will race for hours, and don't let my fiance already be asleep and snoring like a hibernating bear. When that happens, I practically cry myself to sleep. I went into using this sleep cream with an open mind. The bottle says to use one pump, but I use two. Then, I rub it in all over my shoulders, chest, neck, and upper arms. I thought maybe there would be some scent like lavender or something calming, but it is odorless. It also absorbs in right away and does not leave my skin feeling greasy. To my surprise, I fall asleep much faster and I sleep restfully through the night. Needless to say, but I would definitely recommend this

i got this product yester day morning 4/06/15 now i do have sleeping problem i stay up till 3 5 am it really bad i tried many product and nothing has work in till i got my hand on this product wow im sill amazing that last nite i feel asleep a 12 am and woke feeling refresh and alert i put this lotion on my face exactly at 10:30pm iv never feel asleep so fast im 24 year old and since i was 20 year of age i had trouble sleeping, and im so shock and amaze about this product and the most amazing thing is not a pill it a lotion so while you hydrate your skin it going help you sleep better so if your like me this the product for you it MUST MUST HAVE .. The ingredients are all natural so why not if it work for me it cloud work for you.

I was super excited to try this product out since I've been hearing all about it's benefits lately. I followed the instructions and put on one pump once a day on the inside of my arms or legs for about a week. I have noticed a change my sleep habits. I love it! I found that I fell asleep faster and stayed asleep. I also find that I am not as tired during the day and in turn have more energy! The Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Cream absorbs quickly and miraculously, it leaves no oily feel! It doesn't really have a smell. This product totally does what it claims. Shipping was super quick too! I would totally recommend this product to anyone needing such a product!

This Maxasorb Melatonin Sleep Cream caught my interest. I had never heard of melatonin cream prior, I've always known it to be in capsule form. A relative suffers from shift work sleeping inconsistencies and I knew that she needed to try something that she hadn't tried before. She's tried it all, including melatonin. She took it in capsule form awhile ago and didn't like how it made her feel. Well, she's now changed her mind on melatonin. She rubs this on her arm or leg and within a half hour to an hour, she's slowly falling asleep gracefully. She said this stuff has made a HUGE difference in her life. For that, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who need that extra bit of sleep when they cannot fall asleep on their own.

WOW this worked just like they say it would. I have been sleeping more soundly and feel so refreshed in the mornings. I never took Melatonin pills before but had thought about it but since I take some RX meds I did not want to add to the swallowed pills. I just rub one pump in on a different spot every time and its been a week and I am truly amazed. I also got the B-12 cream but I cannot say if thats doing anything or not but it probably is since this worked so well. I will be buying again this sleep cream for sure and thanks......

This is the best melatonin cream. I have tried others that leave a stickiness on your skin and do not work near as well as this one. I haven't gotten a good nights sleep for 2 years and the first night I used this I actually slept all night. Finally...relief! Definitely 5 stars!! If you've tried sublingual melatonin with no results try this cream. Big difference.

I've had insomnia for years, and I really dislike prescription meds, so the idea of topical melatonin sleep cream appealed to me. Works like a charm. I lathered up, waited a little while and sleep so nicely, didn't wake up, and got a full 11 hours. I felt like superwoman. This is a new combatant in the arsenal.

I have an odd sleeping pattern because of my previous job as a call center agent back in the Philippines. I worked graveyard shifts that changed every few weeks. It can be applied anywhere on the body but I prefer to rub it on the insides of my wrists. It takes a few moments before it absorbs and when it does, it doesn't leave oily residue. I have been using this product for a week now and I'm glad that it has helped with my getting a normal sleep routine. I will continue using this product and will update my review in a few weeks I'm very hopeful this product will reverse my abnormal sleep routine.

After using the Maxasorb Melatonin Cream the first night I can't believe how quickly I fell asleep, how easy it is to use and no pills to swallow for me. When I woke up in the morning I felt so well rested not groggy at all. The bottle is also very easy to travel with too. Finally a melatonin that helps me wind down and relax my mind so I can sleep.

I expected this to maybe have a relaxing scent to it, but it has absolutely no scent at all. I personally would have loved it to have a light lavender scent to it as lavender is relaxing and calming and would also help you fall asleep as well as sleep better through the night. Basically, if this could be more like a lotion with melatonin in it, that would be fantastic. Although, nothing is really stopping you from mixing it with your normal lotion. I'm sure that would not hinder the effects at all if this is something you would like to try out.
