This is a gentle skin cream that I have found to be very soothing. What a great benefit to have Vitamin D in the cream. I use it most days in the morning after a skin serum and before a matte moisturizer. I have started making a habit of using it on rainy days. It feels like it moisturizes and protects. I am glad to have this product as winter approaches and the days get shorter. I only use one pump or less once a day. It is definitely easy to use and I have not had any adverse reactions to using this.

MOST people are deficient in Vitamin D, which is actually a HORMONE, not a "vitamin". Thes BEST way to get vitamin D is through sun exposure, and second is through your diet. But, especially in this time of year where the days are getting shorter, and cloudier (depending on where you live), is usually the beginning of the "flu season" for JUST that reason -lack of Vitamin D! Do your research into the amazing benefits of have a healthy level of Vitamin D. It is an amazing boost for your immune system, as well as regulating OTHER hormones, including ones that help your metabolism. I have usually taken oral supplements, but I really, really like this a LOT better! It's a quick one or two pumps, depending on your needs (go get your Vitamin D levels checked) and I'm no the go! It claims to be "odorless" but there IS an odor. It's not anything bad, but I can smell it every time I apply it. Good new is, it doesn't last. Not even the oily feeling doesn't last. It dries up really quickly. Vitamin D is definitely one of those supplements I strongly recommend friends and family to use regularly and this topical version of it is by far one of the best and most convenient methods! I will be re-ordering!

Everyone in my family is low in Vitamin D, and although we have tried oral supplements, my daughter was having trouble getting her levels up....until she started using this Vitamin D cream. It served a two fold purpose for her: she was much more apt to use it because she hates pills, and she has dry skin, so it was easier to REMEMBER to take. If you are in need of a Vitamin D boost, I highly recommend trying this! It absorbs quickly, is fragrance free and is not greasy or oily feeling.

I really love this lotion. I use it on my face and it makes it feel really soft. My foundation goes on very smoothly after. I love the thought that I am getting my Vitamin D through a cream rather than having to take a pill.

I haven't really noticed a hugh difference in mood but perhaps I need to use it for an extended period of time. It doesn't have a strong smell, but I'm not too fond of the scent. The scent does go away after a little bit. It does go on smooth & my skin is soft.

This cream goes on smoothly and without any odor, absorbing quickly into the skin. I can't tell you if I've noticed a difference just yet, but I can say that I like the option of a topical cream for D3. I usually take it orally, either in pill form or drops, but this is a convenient alternative. I wish the packaging had said WHERE to apply it (I guess it doesn't matter?), but I have been putting it on the back of my hands. Hopefully that's right!

I am not hiding from the sunshine, but my vitamin D levels are still low and therefore I need to supplement with it. Vitamin D has several important functions. The most vital are regulating the absorption of calcium and phosphorous, and facilitating normal immune system function. Getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D is important for normal growth and development of bones and teeth, as well as improved resistance against certain diseases. Research show that good levels of Vitamin D3 could prevent chronic diseases and incidence of several types of cancer could also be slashed in half. Vitamin D also fights infections, including colds and the flu, as it regulates the expression of genes that influence your immune system to attack and destroy bacteria and viruses. When you supplement with the pill, it goes through your liver first and then it is up to the metabolic specifics of your body to absorb that or another amount of the supplement. Topical application is different - it does not go through the liver and instead goes into the tissues right away. I find that for myself the best way to elevate my vitamin D levels is to supplement with both forms. I like this cream, it also makes skin soft. The only thing the 1000 UI dose is low, and maybe this is what is enough for Psoriasis sufferers, I need to use at least two pumps. It would be great if the vendor offers different strength or different pump sizes. I also thought the bottle would be bigger. I do not see what's different in the absorption of this cream comparing to let's say AnuMed's cream that for just $3 more offers whopping 10,000 UI per pump. It would be great if besides just saying it is highly-absorbent, providing the facts on the superior absorption. Other than that - it's all good thing!

I live in an area where Vitamin D shortage is a huge issue. Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. While sun is the best way to get Vitamin D, that is not practical for many people. I was taking 10,000 IUs a day through the winter. I think by using this transdermal, I will not need as high a dose. This comes in 1000 IU doses. I think 1 or 2 doses a day will be plenty for those no sun days. I also get my Vitamin D levels tested regularly. I suggest regular testing.

A vitamin D skin cream - how wonderful! This is a light, pleasant-smelling facial moisturizer that delivers a daily dose of vitamin D3. I work nights and sleep days so getting ANY amount of vitamin D from the sun is a challenge. Let's face it, anything that combines my daily regimens (moisturizing and taking supplements) is a HUGE plus for me. After using this skin cream for a week, I've noticed a slightly happier outlook and smooth, glowing skin. Yes, I said glowing. I will continue to use this Vita Sciences vitamin D3 skin cream for as long as they produce it.

I have trouble taking vitamin D pills over the years. They tend to cause stomach issues. I've tried many brands and all have the same affect. It's thick and moisturizing and easy to use. I would recommend this cream for anyone that has issues with taking vitamin D.

It's always difficult to tell if supplement type items are working or not.. However, I will review what I do know so far! The packaging of this item is very professional. The bottle is high quality. Seals well and the pump works well. There is hardly any smell at all to this, and I've put it on various places on my body with no irritation or anything of the sort. I suppose without an actual blood test, I won't be able to tell if it raises my d3 level, but so far I'm very excited about this product and I hope in the future I can detect a difference in my fatigue levels!

I hate taking multiple pills for whatever I need. This is a genus idea. Maxasorb D3 allows you to use a lotion to rub on your arms or legs to get the Vitamin D that you need for the day. I don't eat very must dairy or drink milk very often. I know I need more Vitamin D in my life. Using Maxasorb D3 allows me to get the Vitamin D I need without taking a pill. I keep this in my bathroom and have added it to my daily morning routine. I've had no reactions to using this on my arms. It has natural ingredients and is gentle on my skin. I have sensitive skin and have to be care what I put on my skin. I've had no problems what so ever!

Such a simple way to incorporate D3 into my routine.. I am way not good at taking an remembering pills.. This solves my problem as I leave it next to my deodorant and apply it when I apply each day.. Takes care of an issue that I have been having as I and D3 deficient. I am looking forward to seeing an improved mood and energy level due to the lack of D3 and lack of sunshine in the Midwest during this time of year!

the dr told me i have vitamin d deficiency and to be taking vitamin d pills. i have a hard time swallowing pills so i was excited to try this. it doesnt have an odor and it doesnt leave my skin greasy, you wouldnt even know u were rubbing vitamins into ur skin. cant wait to find out how my levels are when i go back to the dr in 2 months.

I have a Vitamin D deficiency so I was really excited to try this cream out. It is super easy to use, just squirt one pump out and apply to your skin daily. The cream isn't messy or greasy and rubbed into and absorbed into my skin quickly and easily. I love that this will replace the 2 vitamin D pills that I have to take everyday. Doesn't really have a fragrance so if you're sensitive to smells, you should still be able to use this no problem. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it actually works but I will know next time I have a check up at the MD.

Because I exclusively breastfeed I have a vitamin D deficiency. I also had lap band surgery a few years ago and HATE swallowing pills, so when I heard there lotion vitamins I though I would try it out. I like that this lotion has no scent and it has been great on my skin which can be sensitive. I do have to go back to my doctor to have follow up blood work and I'm excited to see of my vitamin D levels have improved.

So far I can give this product a 5 star rating... my body does not always absorb vitamins and minerals through the digestive system & I am always looking for other ways to supplement my WOE (way of eating). This product is easy to use, I detect no order and it leaves the skin soft where I apply it... I am looking forward to using this product for a few months before my next blood test. I am sure this will give me the results I am looking for as it is so quickly absorbed into my skin..

I received this in the in the mail this morning and showed my son who hates to take pills plus has a low vit. D level and we read the instructions together and he was like this is so easy and took the bottle to use, this is coming from a 18 who hates to try anything new or use anything healthy. I did how ever call our family doctor to make sure it was ok to use for him. I would recommend this product for anyone to use. So simple plus you can carry it in your over night bag, purse, makeup bag ect..

I have been looking for a product that I could use to help improve my Vitaimin D intake and I have found it!! The Vita Sciences Maxasorb D3 cream is a light non smelling cream that you can rub on your body to help you boost your vitamin D intake. All you have to do is rub a full pump of the cream on your skin 1 to 2 times a day. This one pump will provide up to 1000 IU (per pump). This cream is used to promote strong bones, a healthy heart, and help to improve the immune system. It works through absorption when you rub it on the skin. I love this product because it is easy to use and does not have a greasy film. I would (and have) recommend this to family and friends.
