Pump arrived on time and very well packed in two boxes. Is installed and working great. This is my 2nd pump I ordered from spa care, as my tub is older and has 3 pumps which are no longer available from Cal Spa.

This unit was described as Drop-in to replace the pump in the Cal Spa PL389, and it was exactly that. It fit perfectly without any plumbing changes. The unit does seem to run hotter to the touch than the OEM one, but the jury's out on whether or not that's an issue at all.

I found the unit online. The detailed descriptive comments about the unit helped me understand that this was a direct replacement unit. This is what sold the unit to me (rather than buying from a competitor). Aside from having to establish an account, the checkout was simple. Shipping was super quick. I had the unit in 2 days with the cheapest shipping option.

Perfect fit. Arrived quickly. No install issues. Only challenge was no drain nipple on the input side of the pump like the OEM. Used a drain plug on the pump instead and all was good! Would be nice if that 1/4” MIP x 3/8 ID nipple was provided?

So far the ratings I've given are only 3 stars except for service the only reason I've only given 3 stars is because I haven't been able to get anyone to install my pump as of yet therefore I'm not able to give an adequate rating, once I have the pump installed and make sure it's the correct item and is in satisfactory working condition I will update my review. As for the service I received I've given spacare 4 stars because when I didn't receive my package on time I sent an email inquiring about my package and I received a reply almost immediately which assured me that spacare really cares about their customers, as I stated earlier once the pump is installed and everything is satisfactory I will go in and update my reviews.

Not an exact fit. Plumbing was a direct hook and go. Electric was not, motor only runs on one speed. The info on web site indicated the product was replacement.

Wasn't a direct fit for our unit. Had to modify our lines to make it work. It is allot noisier than I was expecting and it sqeeks when it starts and stops.
