Our story begins back in 2000, when Laura and Scott Jordan - our future Pocket entrepreneurs - realized the world of fashion was light years behind the ever-changing world of technology. Laura was tired of carrying all of Scott’s gadgets in her bags and Scott’s traditional pockets couldn’t carry everything he needed...and a man purse was out of the question. Scott had a brilliant idea: he would create a modified fisherman’s vest but with extra pockets, enough to hold all of his essentials but still stylish enough to wear out around town.
Those were the humble beginnings of SCOTTeVEST. The company has now evolved into an international business, with a full line of men’s and women’s vests, jackets, pullovers, hoodies, shirts, dresses, underwear, pajamas and pants; all designed to strategically hold and organize your personal belongings so whatever you need is always on hand.

I bought the red fireside woman's fleece when they had a sale, and it was a great deal. I'm happy I ordered a large (one size bigger than I wear), as it helps to have the extra room for all the items you can fit in the plethora of pockets. Love, love, LOVE, the pockets! It is made of excellent fleece material, the stitching is high quality, and one can tell a great deal of attention was paid to detail.

I needed to contact customer service, because I'd expected to have my shopper's credits applied to the current purchase. Apparently, they don't do that when an item is on sale and thus another discount has been applied. Despite that, they went ahead and applied the credits. So, the customer service folks were fast, accommodating and efficient. It would be lovely if the site itself were a little clearer on the topic, but I was very happy with the quick and gracious resolution.

The Margaux pants are super comfortable, and I wear them most days. They’re well made and the best pants I’ve found for the combination of comfort and reasonably attractive. They’re an informal style, so not my first pick for going out to a nice restaurant, but for everyday running about, they’re terrific.

This is my third Penny Coat. I have been a Scottevest owner since they started and didn't have any womens jackets. I own several. I wear them until they start to disintegrate, which takes about four years. I live in Chicago. That's about six months of everyday wear. I gave my first coat to my niece and she is still wearing it. I never carry a purse. This is the only way. They just need to make more styles. Especially slim cargo knee pants for woman.

The pockets are too far back, face backwards, not forwards, so I have to reach cross-body to us them or unless you’re double-jointed which I am not. This product is not at all what I expected. I love pockets so am doubly disappointed.

Love the color and the crew neck. The pocket faces backwards, not forwards, so I must reach cross-body to use the one pocket on the right side. The other pocket on the left, similarly points to the back. This is unnatural for me and like the blouse, unlike any other product I have encountered. So disappointed.

The drop down selection to describe the product did not have the selection I needed. I love Scott-e apparel. What I don’t like is the returns and exchange process. It takes far too long and is very burdensome. The Chinos I ordered were too small and I wanted to exchange them for the next size up. You have to submit for a RMA # then ship the product back for exchange. You have to pay for the return shipping. Supposedly you get that refunded somehow later. Most online retailers do refunds and exchange way more efficiently then Scott-e does. If this process was more efficient I would have rated 5 out of 5 stars.
