I had yearly cortisone shots for “golf elbow” until a friend told me about Flexbar. I followed the directions on YouTube and saw improvement within a week and complete relief in about a month. Give it a try, it really worked for me.

Really works. It does not feel very good to use but the doctor said that would happen. After using if for about 6 weeks my pain was almost gone. Now I use it every few days just so my tendonitis does not come back. It really does work

This thing really works for tennis elbow. I went to physical therapy and did their exercises for a week and my elbow hurt more and more. I ordered the Thera-Band; did the exercises and I feel great. I have also been using it to make my feet feel better. In addition to the Thera-band there was a little pamphlet describing other exercises for different parts of the body.

Relief after 12 months of golfer's elbow! I was considering cortisone shots but wanted a permanent fix so I tried the red flex bar with the exercises I found on YouTube. I'm a female athlete (basketball, weight lifting, golf, racquetball) and couldn't open swinging doors with my right arm. I stopped all weight lifting and couldn't even lift a gallon of milk out of the fridge. It was terribly painful for months even though I followed doctor's advice (rest, ice, Advil). I used the flexbar minimally (1 set of 10) at first because the exercises caused a slight twinge of pain. After a couple of weeks at most, I.progressed to 3 sets of 10. Even though the exercises don't feel like they're doing anything, my right elbow feels so much better. I'm able to play racquetball and have restarted weight lifting. I'm at 75% of what I used to lift. I still ice and use the flex bar for maintenance.

A little history...I've been an avid (4.5) tennis player for the past 30 years. I have NEVER had tennis elbow before this. I am almost certain that I tore the tendon doing a kettle bell tricep extension with a personal trainer; in other words, tennis did not cause my injury. On April 5, 2015, I woke up unable to open the fridge, pick up a coffee cup, etc. I iced/ibuprofen for about 7 days before looking for more help. When I googled tennis elbow, I completely FREAKED OUT. No tennis for a year? No way! I ordered the red flex bar after reading the NYT blog article and called my PT the same day. Since then, I have used the flex bar every day (after refining technique with PT); had deep laser treatment and deep tissue, trigger point massage 2x per week with PT and limited tennis to every other day (prior to injury was previously playing 2-3 hours 5-6x per week). The PT tapes me with kinesio-tape on forearm and tricep. I have managed to continue playing AND am healing. Every day the elbow feels better. For the tennis players: I also took out my poly string and went to natural gut at 52 tension (not my favorite and has definitely affected my game, but feels like I'm hitting with a pillow). Bottom line: I have no idea what is helping the most, but my PT is convinced that the flexbar is part of the solution. Since she's not affiliated with the company and doesn't sell it, I would have to conclude that it's a great purchase.
