This fabric is beautiful, and the weight is perfect for linen napkins and tablecloths. This black is actually a bit darker. This picture looks a little washed out. I have purchased this weight of linen in many colors and it always exceeds expectations.

I got a swatch of 51 Bronze, it is very different from the picture, much more orange. The rest of my review is for this company in general. I don't care if this isn't the right place for it. I'm pissed. I ordered three swatches January 31st. I received an email saying my order had been shipped but no tracking information. February 16th and still nothing, so I sent a complaint in. I was told that two of the three fabrics were out of stock but they would resend the one fabric and refund me for the whole order. I was disappointed to not have all of the swatches but at least I wasn't getting charged for anything. I opened my mail on February 21st to find both the original and resent envelopes had arrived at the same time, which was odd. But this meant I got to see all three swatches! Wrong. I opened the original package, which I had been charged for 3 swatches, to find 1 and a sticker saying: contact us for a refund. The company did NOT indicate that they were out of stock when I placed my order. Or when they charged me. Or when they sent an email confirming shipment. Or any other point in the three week period it took to get here. They charged me for three swatches when they knew they were only sending one. I'd already gotten a full refund from my earlier complaint over the long shipping period so there's nothing else I want from them. I'm just upset at their deceptive business practices. I can't believe they would knowingly charge me for something they had no intention of sending. I'd give fewer stars if they let me.

I use this linen for apparel construction, then kantha stitch it. It's weave, looser than cotton, is perfect and easy to work with kantha stitching. The colors of these linens are bright and beautiful.

Your handkerchief linen is everything I require in hot Oklahoma weather -- lightweight, breathable, a nice hand, and still looks nice without much ironing. It is perfect for kantha stitching scarves, blouses, and actually anything. A pleasure to work with.

One way stretch, color saturation very good, 1/2 inch selvage, warp and weft clearly defined, recommend this product as a Great Value, I will make a dress ???? styled after 5, adding lining, interfacing, buttons and trim will improve drape. Many colors, cell phone picture won't upload due to size. Happy with purchase!

NO PROBLEM SO FAR. THIS WAS TO LOOK AT LARGE PIECES OF THE FABRIC TO DECIDE WHAT COLOR WILL WORK FOR SLIPCOVERS FOR SEVERAL PIECES OF FURNITURE. THE OFF WHITE IS PRETTY BUT NOT AS OPAQUE AS I WOULD LIKE. NOW I WILL THINK ABOUT IT------MAYBE FOR A LONG TIME.

Stable Fabric. This is my "Go To" fabric for making patterns for clothing, lampshades, you name it. Very Strong and Stable with noticeable weave lines to get lengthwise and crosswise grain lines just right. Can't do without it.
