Great for artists. My son is an artist who paints in oils. He paints on flax linen because it's expected archival durability is 10 times that of cotton canvas.

Superb linen. Linen quality varies such a lot. I have bought from other sources but nothing comes close to this one. It is beautiful to work with and the finish is excellent. Heirloom quality.

Love it! First, delivery was very quick - about 5 days from placing the order to receiving it. Next, the colors are amazing, very jewel-like. Third, it has a fantastic hand, very easy to work with. Finally, this fabric is perfect for our VERY hot Arizona summers. So far I have not noticed a significant amount of wrinkling, which is inevitable with linen.

Easter Outfits. Made my grandsons Easter outfits out of the natural handkerchief linen.....loved the color and the hand of the fabric....will use again.....

Handkerchief linen. We have used this handkerchief linen to make altar linens for our church. We have found the fabric to be very user friendly. It holds its shape nicely and is very durable. It launders very well.

An Excellent Fabric. The linen arrived in good order; I washed, dried, and ironed it. Its soft and shiny (though it was shinier before I washed it-got to love that flax wax!), and its going to be beautiful in my wedding dress! I havent cut it yet, but I did stitch the edges so it wouldnt fray in the wash. The fabric is fine, but not so fine as to cause problems. I used a size 10 needle on it and had no problems. This linen also shedded less in the wash than other linens Ive worked with; it was really nice to not have to pull out so much wet lint from the washing machine.

Excellent fabric, very pleased first time customer. I wanted to make a lightweight blouse / jacket from linen and didnt want my efforts wasted on some of the poor quality fabric I find at my local chain stores, so I decided to try this fabric since it was highly rated. I ordered some swatches of this linen and some of a little heavier weight linen and decided to go with this hankerchief weight. That was a good choice, because it has enough body and opacity (I used Cornflower) for what I wanted. I washed and dried the fabric before cutting, and it was very nice to sew with (aside from fraying, which goes with linen territory). I made a Burda pattern from 7-2008 and substituted buttons instead of the zipper. I wouldnt hesitate to purchse from NY Fashion Center fabrics again!

Handkerchief 100% Linen Fabric 4.0-oz. I am in the process of getting my dress made right now so cant specifically comment on the product itself.
