These are high quality at a great price. I got them on sale. They are heavier than expected, so if you are using them for hunting go with something lighter. I asked repeat lyrics if they would fit in a pocket and kept getting the reply, they are compact. Finally I was given the dimensions, but I had already ordered. Also I bought because they have a life time guarantee. When I got them the guarantee is only on material man. Defect just like everyone erroneous else's. It shouldn't be advertise that way.

I had to repeat lyrics email the question, will these fit in a pocket. The response was that they are "compact". Finally I was told the dimensions. Also they are advertised with a life time quarantine. But when I got the binoculars the guarantee is only on material and defects etc., this is like most standard guarantees.

I haven't activated the battery on the light yet because it is a Christmas gift. I can comment on the excellent service I received from this firm while processing my order. The magnifier is very attractive and will make a good and useful gift for the person who will receive it.

Our order arrived quickly which was a pleasant surprise.This is a heavy duty, very well made microscope. We are using it for our homeschool biology. So far it has meet our needs. I will update later after we have used it for more projects. I am very pleased with what I have seen so far.

This is a pretty good telescope, but after looking at the reviews of people that bought this I realized this product looks so fake- someone said "the urban air pollution thing..." I just want to ensure you that this isn't fake, Its just a bunch of idiots that know nothing about astronomy are the only ones that got this. First words; Jones-Bird. aka Bird-Jones This is an extremely short scope labeled as a 1000mm (factually a 500mm) of the Jones-Bird variation of a Newtonian scope. For those not familiar with the name, Google it and you'll understand why serious stargazers shy away from, no, run away from the Jones-Bird design. It's very difficult to build correctly, match the optics properly and is harder to collimate and keep adjusted than most reflectors. It's a cheap way to make a compact Newton. The basic design adds a 'correcting' lens between the reflector mirror and the focusing tube to give the illusion of a scope with a longer focal length. This scope comes with a separate 2X Barlow lens when used acts as the corrector to simulate the claimed 1000mm focal length within a 500mm tube. In reality it is only doubling the magnification and adding all sorts of optical problems doing it. Without it this is just a 500mm focal length scope. As for viewing objects in the night sky without the Barlow lens. First test was obviously the Moon. Easy to make out craters etc but at max magnification it turned out to be only twice as good as binoculars. Jupiter was next. It appears as a small dot in the middle of the viewing field. Barely make out a moon but can't see the spot or any surface detail at all. Stars, not enough magnification to make a difference over a pair of binoculars. Add the Barlow and this suffers from the negative aspects of the Jones-Bird design. It becomes very difficult to focus and harder to get detail. The coma effect when out of focus is exaggerated to the point you can see the shadow of the spider holding the 45deg mirror against the light of a single star. I'm returning it and will stick with a bulky long tube narrow field of view true Newton design.
