Well-Done

Had a warranty issue, and there was some discussion and misunderstanding about the nature and extent of the warranty.

A Spring Broke, and they ended up replacing both with an upgraded set of springs, better suited to our door.

Also noticed that the opener was reversing it self often and would not stay closed. They determined it was an issue with the Marantec Opener, also under warranty. While it took a while for them to get the parts, Joe came today with more parts than were necessary, to ensure the got it right this time, and THEY DID. It turned out not to be the part they thought but because they ordered a few other items, they were able to fix it with the alternate part, saving another trip and more down time.

Joe is very professional and personable, a REAL KEEPER. The other tech, Brad ? I think that helped Joe on and earlier call was great also. Joe called to make appt., called again to let me know he finished his last call and was on his way and arrived on time.

Stan, the owner was also out on one of the days and took a real interest in the problem, as it was a bit out of the norm, but he took ownership of the problem and made me comfortable that the problem would be resolved and it was. My confidence was restored.

I am a former owner of a contracting company, and if I were still in that business I would add Precision to my list of preferred subcontractors. I would not hesitate to give them a recommendation if asked.

Wonderful! Glad we called them. Fixed the garage door so we can use it. Received info on a new garage door and plan on replacing in the Spring! We will definitely go through this company. The technician was great!

The quality and professionalism of the people I dealt with was excellent. Very impressed with Eric who did the installation. He was friendly, helpful and his workmanship was outstanding. I felt like the company treated me as a "very important" customer. I highly recommend Precision Door.

I requested a routine lube and check of my system, and a diagnosis why the my remotes readily opened the door, but was erratic and often would not close the door. (There are thirty units at the townhouse condominiums all with the same system.) The problem was blamed on wi-fi interference and couldn't be fixed.
Not true, as I later learned. The problem is caused by a faulty capacitor in the motor. My neighbor has already fixed one of the lift motors by replacing the capacitor, and will be fixing mine tomorrow morning. The garage door systems here are nearly twenty years old. Several years ago I had Precision replace the spring and do a routine lube and check. That job I would give at least four or five stars.

I am absolutely and totally impressed with the professionalism, workmanship, and courtesy of Precision Door. Two gentlemen arrived within an hour of my call for help. Within 15 minutes, the team had a diagnosis of the problem with multiple options for repairs. There was an extensive amount of work to complete and it was done within two hours. The gentlemen took the time to program extra remotes, explain every detail of what they did, and ensure that I was totally satisfied. Thank you so much for the fantastic work. It was an absolute pleasure to have you work in my home and I cannot overstate how highly I think of Precision Door.

Serviceman was not sure what caused the garage door mechanism to reverse, but he reprogrammed the operating codes, and the door opener works again.

The two gentlemen who came out were very friendly and knowledgeable. They let me know what I needed and offered me 3 options from high to low. They finished the project sooner than I expected and walked me through everything to help me learn how it all works.
