Processing time on the order was a little ridiculous, the unitis where ordered on the 13th, didn't process until the 18th, and then didn't ship until the 22ed. That was the only issue with this order, the inside units, outside condenser, line set covers, and wall mount bracket all was well above expectations and super easy to install. Everything works very good and as advertised, the precharged condenser is amazing!!! Vacuum and pressure test the lines then release!!! Inside and outside units are super quite, have not checked disables yet but it wont be much. Almost need to place your hand on both just to see if they are running. I am very pleased with the purchase and will recommend this product to others.

I have two Pioneer Mini splits that can use these. I bought one when I purchased the Mini splits and loved it. So nice to be able to control it in our mountain cabin 200 miles away. I had to get another for the other unit. It took less than 5 minutes to add to the app I had on my phone. Awesome product!

Will not connect no matter what i do. Instructions say it is not compatible with latest version of iOS, guess what, that's what I have. Just not worth all the trouble till they fix it. I'll be returning it.

This works but not without challenge. It was difficult to plug it into it's receptacle and wasn't entirely sure if it was properly seated as the bezel completely block the connection from sight. I went through the procedure of installing the app on my phone (Android) and attempting to connect the mini split to my wifi. It turns out it only supports 2.5g so I had to reconfigure my WiFi network to use a different name for 2.5g. My wifi network used the same name for both 2.5g and 5g to simplify connectivity for my other devices. This however seemed to confuse the connection process and every other attempt to connect would state my network was not compatible. After separating out the bands to two different networks, I was able to get past this point. At the end when it was trying to upload its configuration, it kept failing. After an hour of repeated attempts, I decided to reseat the USB dongle and that worked. I would have done that earlier if it was easier to see how the dongle was seated. It worked after all this. So now, three days later I cannot log into the APP and keep getting SDK login errors. I think there is something already wrong with their service but I'm not up to another half day of troubleshooting right now.

The product is great, but it is sad that you don't have an app for androids to use it. I have to get on my ipad to use it. I want to be able to use it if I am not home. My cell is android.

Control was hit or miss, maybe a year ago, but it is very reliable now. Probably a software or server thing. The app does not support freeze protect mode. Well worth it.

Ok, as the subject says...Great idea, but the software is SO SO SO BAD it is amazing that Pioneer lets it happen! Example...When the unit is OFF, it reads LOGO and under it Press to Turn. The word "Logo" was the placeholder for an actual logo that is not their! How do you miss something like that? That is how bad the software is and getting to to get setup took a read on Amazon to find someone that mentioned to be sure to turn off your CELL Data before you try to run the setup. Before I did that, it would not work at all as it could not connect to it as the cell part would take over as their is no internet, of course, on the USB's network it sets up so it can connect to it and configure it with your network settings. Like I said, great idea...VERY BADLY made app. REPLY: Thank you for your review and constructive criticism. Please see our Newest product that is replacing this module. You will be much more pleased with this one. The USB product is a 3rd party product and it is not the very best. It works wonderful for some people and badly for some others. We have not been able to find out why there is so much difference in user opinions. Thanks again.

First time setting one of these up, the USB dongle comes with several QR stickers, including one on the dongle itself. I tried installing and scanning the code which resulted in an error. After googling around a little I discovered the AC system needs to be set in AP mode before this will work, which the instructions did not clearly state. Also not stated, was the "display" button, which is the bottom right "LED" button. After getting this all figured out, and the AC set in AP mode, the Android App I downloaded then recognized the QR code.. The next step will ask you to pick a WiFi, make sure you choose a 2.4GHz access point name, even if 5GHz are listed. Those were all the major hurdles, after that the app was able to control my AC fairly well.

Well my new dongle arrived and it took me less than five minutes to have it up and running. If you have the WYS models u will want to have this to control your ac anywhere and anytime. Great add on for the mini splits.
