I followed the lost indoor escapee pet recommendations by scouring the neighborhood in all directions to lure my cat home. I also took his brother in a carrier with me so he could smell us and find his way back home. After this, I did one more sweep of the neighborhood by myself and when I returned home, he was on the back porch!

It's a great idea that provides a great service to help people and pets in the community. Even though she came home on her own after being gone about 30hrs. I'm glad the service is there for me again in the future if I, hopefully don't, need it. Thanks so much!

Although today's contact with customer services was technical in nature, had I not received guidance from Jess, I would not have been able to post an alert for my "runaway" dog. Twice now PetKey has given me peace of mind and a deeper appreciation of the services provided.
The last time my girl ran off in pursuit of deer, she was recognized by a PetKey member and safely home a short time later. This was the result of following PetKey's process of posting detailed information combined with the diligence of a loyal PetKey member who regularly checks on missing pets whenever she sees a loose animal in the neighborhood.

There is no way to tell if the alert truly went out or to find out which vets get a notification. It's tossing money at them and just hoping they truly notify.

Online lost pet reporting was easy and quick. I love that Petkey automatically creates a lsot pet poster so we don't waste time creating one ourselves and can get to posting them around the neighborhood and distributing.

Someone found Bear 36 hours later and over 2 miles from his original point of escape! Earlier in the day I was contacted by PetKey since my account didn't have a Mircochip registered which was great because I didn't realize this dramatically helps improve the odds of locating our pet. Shortly thereafter, he was safely returned to MedVet and his microchip helped confirm this was indeed our dog. Natalie from PetKey had called me within seconds that Bear's information was in! Couldn't be happier to be reunited!! Longest 36 hours of our lives. Highly recommend partnering with PetKey in the search for your loved ones!
