Couldn't process credit card, no big deal. Call for customer service and they ask for a fax of the credit card and my driver's license to manually input. Again, no big deal, but a hassle - maybe they need my home address, not the business address. But then I get an email in morning saying they can't process phone payments, please retry website. Tried again, rejects again. I try one final round (third times a charm?), and I get the same rejection notice so I give up and decide to move on to another company. Then I get a notice that invoice is paid... OK, it's done, but not a promising start to our relationship.

There were moments of confusion that could have been eliminated with proper explanation. This caused me to experiment e.g. making my website name one word similar to email.

Domains are too expensive here. Except for the minor convenience of having domains and hosting in one control panel there is no benefit to have to pay $* more per year for the domain.
I am only renewing the domain so I can get the domain secret to transfer to another registrar.
Every other service from Pacific Host I love and enjoy. I will be a customer for years to come for other services :)

I really do love Pacifichost compared to all the other hosting providers out there, however the occasional downtimes from the web hosting was what led me to purchase a VPS.
