The trucker did not call in advance, and he did not wait for me to open the package. Luckily I was home because of a Doctor appointment and the TV was OK.

After calling to find out the status of my shipment, I was told that the original product I purchased was a defective batch and up-sold to a much higher price for the same tv. This was shady and I didn't appreciate it and wouldn't purchase from this company again because of that. However, I did like being able to pick up the tv myself close-by my home to avoid further shipping delays.
