Video online helped a lot. Magnetic screwdriver for small piecework was great. Battery installed, charged, and working. The pry tool helped. It's not easy to get the case apart but the tool was much better than using a screwdriver because it didn't damage the case.

I was very pleased with my purchase (which was a replacement battery for my Mom's very old model Kindle). The included tools, instructions and DVD were exceptionally valuable and showed me exactly how to do the job of switching out the old battery for the new one! I'm sure I will be looking up NewPower99 the next time I need an electronics battery of any kind! Highly recommended!

Bill was helpful in trying to sort through battery issue I had with my Kindle. Unfortunately, adding a new battery did not fix the problem. They have promised to send me return instructions so that I can obtain a refund.

The back panel of the Kindle was a bit of a pain to take off, but the battery works great. It took a long time to charge though. Not sure why.

An absolute simple repair! An exact replacement battery that brought my dead kindle back to life. Since it was an older kindle the only option given to me by Amazon was to toss it and buy a new one. The repair video DVD, the same as posted on YouTube, made this repair so simple especially with the tools provided. It was as easy as it looked. I highly recommend NewPower99!!!

Their website was easily navigated and the amount of power sources they offer is quite impressive. This company should also be praised for keeping old electronics functioning and out of landfills.
