The Levenhuk 50L is a nice instrument in every way. The eyepieces and objective lenses are clean, high quality, and appear to be a standard size so I can swap them out if need be. I am happy with the instrument, the case, and accessories. The case is sturdy, the pieces fit nicely firm in their compartments, and the whole package is a solid buy. It's clear the people behind this microscope put a lot of work and thought into the package, and I am grateful. The optics are impressive, the prepared slides are very well done, and the views of simple things like cells of a plant stem somewhat shocked me at first, being so clear and sharp. The rotating aperture disk under the stage is arguably the weakest part of the kit - the apertures not being centered under the objective - but given the adjustable illumination it's a petty non-issue, especially considering the rest of the package. I just set it to the smallest aperture with no vignetting and don't worry about it. It's really nice that the only dust/scratches/defects you see through the eyepiece will be on the slide and cover, not in the optics. Stage focus is smooth, the head rotates with precision, and the whole kit delivers better than I thought to expect. You don't have to deal with the instrument and can concentrate on looking and learning. Levenhuk puts out a product that proves there is no reason a simple microscope can't be high quality and very affordable.

Website is well-organized, pictures are very good, checkout is simple and clear. My impression is a professional organization selling a quality product. I've no complaint on delivery time, but a tracking number or confirmation email would have been a bonus. On the other hand, the package arrived within a week and everything was just a bit better than I had reason to expect. I will recommend Levenhuk to anyone looking for a microscope. You pay your money and it shows up in a timely manner - shouldn't really ask for more :)

Hello! This microscope is a simple but quality model ideal for beginners like me!:) very easy-to-use, gives you quality, sharp images of observed objects. the instrument comes with a wonderful set of slides and other useful accessories. So I'm happy with my choice! Thanks!

Hi! I'd like to say thanks to Levenhuk team! Thank you for your patience, prompt and professional service! What about the microscope... I think it is the best choice for a school kid! I bought it for my son and he got really interested observing all these slides that come with the microscope! Thanks a lot!
