I bought two sets of the Apothecary Jars. The first set was perfect and beautiful. The second set, each jar had a lot of flaws. I was really disappointed cause I opened the perfect set first. And the flaws on the second set are pretty noticeable.

I had ordered 2 boxes of these to use for some parties. While the size and thickness of glass is exactly what I was looking for, the quality of glass is lacking. All the jars that I received were scratched and/or had air bubbles throughout the glass. One jar looked as if they had added onto another glass jar to make it the appropriate size (which caused the jar to have waves throughout it) Very disappointed in the product.

These apothecary jars are the perfect size for a candy buffet. You don't want too big of jars because the cost to fill them would be ridiculous. You don't want them too small because your hand holding the scoop wouldn't fit. These jars are perfect for the purpose. I bought 2 sets.

Though the Apothecary Jars / Candy Jar Sets are very nice; two of the jars had small chips ot the top rim of the jars when I removed them from the Sytrofoam case. I purchased four sets to create a candy buffet. I didn't think that the small chips were enough reason to return one set; however people thinking about these jars must keep this in mind that the rims of the glass jars are thin and fragile. I would encourage you to make sure that small children don't stick their hands in the jar due to the rims being thin and slightly sharp. maybe if the rims could be eithr slightly rounded it would strenghten the rims and they rim would be less likely to chip.

I ordered 2 sets of these Glass apothecary jars for my wedding. They came wrapped in styrofoam very securely without a scratch on them and look just like the picture. Very good deal for these types of jars! I am very pleased with my purchase.
