Don't think you're going to get the equivalent of an LG or mitsubishi mini split for the fraction of the cost. These units provide plenty of utility, but you get what you pay for. Pros: Quiet Efficient Affordable Works just fine in my climate (cold rainy winters reaching -10 celcius on rare occasions and often hitting 100 in the summer) SmartHome capabilities seem to work great Cons: You can't have different units on a multi-unit system doing different things (not even the fan!) Parts are not standard, owner manuals don't always match up 100% with the model. There are spelling errors and confusing language in the product manuals. The "auto" feature is completely worthless and will not maintain temp, or even warm up/cool off a room. The "auto" fan speed is completely worthless and will not maintain temp, or even warm up/cool off a room. Temperatures read by remote are about 3 degrees off. All in all, it's a great system. I just wish I could set my temp like a traditional central air unit where it would quickly warm up/cool off my place and then maintain. The auto features are supposed to be able to do this, but it just doesn't work like its supposed to.
