I really like this safety razor! The technique is easy enough to learn through youtube and I think you will pick it up fairly quickly. The razor is a great substitute for constantly buying disposable razors and wasting money.

Wow... This is my first safety razor and it has been a pleasure to shave with it. My first time was a little bit dicey, but once you get the technique down, holy crap!!! No more ingrown hairs, way less irritation. I actually look forward to shaving again! Love the butterfly doors, makes cleaning and blade changes easy. The weight of the razor is great, as it does most of the work for you. It is also built like a tank. great razor!

Since this is my first time using this type of razors and basing my decision off this website recommendation its been working for me fine and I only gave it 4 stars because I have not compared it to others but overall a good safety razor and a reasonable price

this parker butterfly razor is the first safety razor that i have purchased. overall, it is a nice looking razor, and easy to clean and change blades. the bombay doors of this razor on mine are a bit off. when i lockdown the doors, i have to push the high side down so they are level. not a big deal, but i expected the alignment to be better. this is a razor that shaves well, but i found that it took a lot of getting used to to find the right angle. this is a very mild razor in my opinion, and if you don't get the angle right, you are not shaving. the plus side is, it is very forgiving, and it is harder to nick yourself. the weight is nice, and the handle nicely etched so it is very easy to hold, and it will not spin or twist while shaving.

wow!!!! what a close shave. You certainly can't get that with a 15 blade gillette fusion..lol I'm a first time user and this has a slight learning curve. It's a little bit heavy but lets you know your holding onto a razor sharp blade. I am telling everyone i know about this blade and i have nothing bad to say at all!

Great razor, had no trouble at all using a double edge for the first time. Has some weight to it and feels like very good quality. I would recommend this and look forward to using it again.

This was the first safety razor that I ever purchased, and I have to say that I love this razor. It has produced great shaves so far and is very easy to clean. I believe that I will be a wet shaver for life now.

The razor has nice balance to it and good weight. Changing blades is easy with the butterfly assembly. This is my first safety razor and I was a little nervous at first but find this to be very easy to use. Provides a very close shave.
